Better than average food in both offerings and quality. Staff very professional and generally responsive to comments/complaints, but follow through sometimes lacking. Staffing seems adequate during the day but suffers at night. Mobility-challenged residents can wait longer than necessary periods for help with toileting, etc. Medical care by in-house RN's and PA's excellent from our experience. A relatively expensive facility but in most ways worth the cost. Be aware you may have to stay on top of issues/concerns and be sure there is follow through.

We have been living at Hartland Meadows for three years now ! Absolutely the best decision we have…read moreever made . During this last year with Covid 19 they have done so much to keep us all safe . The complex is located in such a perfect setting ! It is within walking distance of downtown Hartland ! Many diverse shopping and eating opportunities. Palmer's Steakhouse, Zesti , the Phoenix, and Creole Cafe are only a few of your options. Piggly Wiggly is less than a mile away . Also Nixon Park is a great place to go walking and enjoying many activities they have . One we enjoy is free concerts during the summer . They have underground parking so you don't have to worry about taking your car ! If you want quite surroundings you can have that , or if you still want to enjoy nite life you can do that too . I recently moved from Hartland Meadows after six-plus years of joyful living. I had a spacious one…read morebedroom apartment, with a lovely view of yard, flowers and trees. I enjoyed the residents, the delicious luncheons given by Nancy and Byron, the two libraries, easy access to exercise room, plus computer room. Nancy and Byron made sure that all was well at the Meadows, and so many visitors commented on the lovely decorations in the lobby. There was coffee hour three times a week, Thursday night Happy Hour, and often times residents went to Friday Night Fish Fries. I treasure my years there, and will have fond memories of many good times and dear friends. Sincerely, Julie F
