It is located on a small hill and seems picture perfect like movies. The tree-lined streets include eclectic boutiques, antique shops, and eateries. There are many antique/souvenirs shops and cafes in this neighborhood, with old-style brick houses in the straight lines leading up to the hill, makes everything mesmerizing We walked down Commonwealth Street which is designed like the streets of Paris. Absolutely gorgeous. While wandering through the area, it is easy to get a sense of how life may have been a couple hundred years ago. Boston commons- State house- chapel -beacon Hill, everything is near to each other, so wear comfortable shoes, or you can take the bike for few bucks. A recommendation is to explore this area by foot.

Don't ask. The woman I spoke to was friendly and warm. She was a little apologetic that it would take maybe three weeks, I told her not to worry about it, that I'd waited this long to contact her and could wait a little longer. We agreed the baby wouldn't know the difference. The towel arrived while we were in KC and I opened it last night when we got home. It is a gorgeous blue, soft and beautifully crafted. I just love it and so will Mommy and Baby, I think. Enclosed was a sweet note w/ another apology for the wait and a coupon for a discount on my next order. Well, I have a little great niece who will be turning 2 this summer and could use a towel w/ her name on it. I look forward to choosing the color and design. This will not be my last purchase here. The shop was here for decades, with the most beautiful selection of the finest European children's and infants' clothing, shoes, accessories, stuffed toys, and classic children's books. I shopped here as a child and throughout my children's baby and teen years. The proprietor, Linda Keunkler Ward, sadly, passed away in 2018, it was a very special, tasteful, and lovely shop. My children and I have memories of the shop's pet gerbil, Christmas photo cards pinned to the wall, and a little dish of gum drops at the checkout counter.
