Our new happy place. Such a sweet and enjoyable experience…read more Go to their website and make reservations for the day and time you prefer: https://blasefamilyfarm.com We came for the first time for the Pumpkins last Fall. We learned about Spookly the Pumpkin and enjoyed the most amazing pumpkin popsicles on the planet. We came back this month for the Blueberries. SO FUN. Yes, wear boots, especially after rain. The property is luscious with trees and a creek. They also have bee hives you can observe (from a safe distance). The blueberry popsicles are amazing. All four flavors of Spring popsicles were delicious. We had a popsicle "flight" and tried them all! Restrooms are porta-potties with a hand washing pump sink, so come prepared with your little tot oxo car potty if you're like me and would rather take littles to the car to potty. The owner, Jill, is such a gracious host. She is delightful and enjoys meeting everyone! We got my Dad a block of blueberry fudge, and he said it was the best fudge he has ever eaten (which is saying a lot!!!) This is our new "happy place" for a Fall and Spring excursion to enjoy the seasonal delights of pumpkins and blueberries!!

I picked the 9 am slot which is the earliest time they have and it was perfect. Not too hot and not too many people. It's $7 a pound for the berries. There's a great sitting area and they you gotta walk thru this cute little wooded trail for like less than 5 minutes. And it was wonderful! So pretty and peaceful. Don't forget to also try their popsicles.

2026 Yelp 100 Challenge - #3…read more Visited New Years Eve and I was surprised at how busy it was. There is loading and unloading lanes in the front, but you are unable to leave cars unattended. Parking was $19 per day just to park in the lot. Waterpark is open from 10 am - 8pm Magic Quest is open til 11pm With several other fun options located on the first floor. Downloading their app allows you to get updates on upcoming events but not much else. Communication was provided via text and there are attendants on each floor willing to answer any question you may have. Our room was clean and there were plenty of towels available. The waterpark was fun with a spacious kids area and a giant dump bucket. Lastly the restaurant on the 3rd floor had delicious food and friendly service. My family and I had a great visit and look forward to returning soon.

This was our first and likely our last visit to Great Wolf Lodge. For the amount of money you spend…read moreon a stay, the overall experience just didn't feel worth it. The room we stayed in looked outdated, and we had toilet flushing issues right from the first use, which wasn't a great start. The water park itself was enjoyable, and we didn't have any issues there. I do want to give credit to the lifeguard staff... they were very attentive and clearly doing a great job keeping an eye on the kids, which we really appreciated. We ate dinner at Fireside Restaurant and had a good experience there. One tip: don't rely too much on the app waitlist as it showed limited availability, but when we checked with the host in person, we were seated right away with no wait. Breakfast at Timbers Table & Kitchen, however, was a complete letdown. I didn't expect to pay $78 for a buffet breakfast for two adults and two kids, especially when the food wasn't good. The donuts tasted like they had been refrigerated overnight and were barely edible, and even the self-toasted bagels were stale... no amount of toasting helped. If you're reading this, I highly recommend bringing your own food for at least breakfast to save money and avoid disappointment.

My friend asked me several times to join GISHWHES with her, but I was afraid I would end up letting…read moremy team down. I work from home, for myself, and I was worried life would get in the way. This year was the last year of the HUNT AS WE KNOW IT, though, so I had to take part - there was no waiting one more year. And BOY am I glad I did! I am on a team with five of my personal loved ones PLUS 10 random strangers (who had two smaller teams of their own). So far we have had team members who didn't know each other collaborate, team members who DO know each other collaborate, and we've had a whole lot of love passed on to each person who completes a task. It's been fun imagining, re-imagining, puzzling out details, and - most of all - fundraising for a GREAT CAUSE! I've donated goods to a homeless shelter (socks and food), created art (I always protest I'm not a creative, so the art creation I took on was not only a big deal in that sense; but it was also time consuming and FUN), socialized quite a bit via Twitter (I haven't used Twitter much in the last few years, and I reconnected with a few great friends!), discovered I enjoy collaborating on things (I custom-designed my job so I wouldn't have to work with anyone), brought my nephew into the fun (dress-up for political protest-HAH!), and I plan to possibly do a small protest, travel to a location I'm enthusiastic about so I can take a photo of something, and do more art - including an abstract piece. I am so impressed with how well this is managed, and I cannot imagine what an undertaking it must be for the GISHWHES staff members. I am incredibly thankful for their hard work and dedication, their humorous ideals, and their wittiness. My life has been made better by GISHWHES, even though life did indeed get in the way and i have been unable to participate the last two days. I hope to get a whole lot of tasks done tomorrow and the next though, and with any luck we'll turn in a majority to completion! This is the last year of GISHWHES in its current form; however, if it continues on, I highly recommend becoming a part of the madness!
