An absolutely fantastic restaurant ‍ The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was well explained. It was clear the staff were very excited about the dishes as well. Everything we had was delicious, but I recommend the quesadilla & the chile relleno, and the heirloom tomato salad was delightful. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Absolutely love the place. Love that no matter what you get - decadent black mole, piping hot pupusas, juicy burgers - the food is incredibly high quality and delicious. They do justice to the three cultures of the restaurant's namesake - Mexican, Salvadorean, and American - in a cool, welcoming space. Big bonus - almost everything is GLUTEN-FREE because they use corn masa and they have a dedicated fryer. The GF churros (yes, churros) are to die for... read more

Three Cultures Kitchen is fantastic. This new-ish, family-owned eatery is unique and delicious! Start with Sopes, get the Mole Negro Chilaquiles and the Chili Relleno. The refreshing Horchata de Cantaloupe drink was awesome! (The entire menu is excellent.) Great service too. Located at 16218 Main Street in the heart of downtown Guerneville where Road Trip used to be. Open for lunch and dinner Thursday- Tuesday. Check them out for late night tacos Friday and Saturday 10pm - 12am. read more

This place is too cute! And doesn't have the reviews it deserves! It's been hard finding places to eat out here in Guerneville because there aren't a lot of yelp reviews or photos, but glad this was recommended by someone we met in a hot tub who frequents the area. The three cultures are Salvadorian, Mexican, and American and they've done a wonderful job with the fusion! The service was great, everyone was so kind and attentive. I had the pupusas and they were delicious! My friend got the burger and it was quite tasty as well. The agua de pepino was so good! And we ended with the churros and although they didn't look like traditional churros, they were so good! I also got a cup of coffee to complement the churros and it was so good, I drank it black! 10/10 recommend. read more

Three Cultures Kitchen was one of the highlights of our stay in Guerneville. We ended up coming back for both lunch and dinner because the food was that good. The pupusas were absolutely delicious, the chips and salsa came out hot and fresh, and every dish we tried was flavorful and clearly made with care. The drinks were great as well and paired perfectly with the meals. What stood out most, though, was the customer service. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the experience feel even more memorable. You can tell there's a lot of heart behind this place. We'll definitely be returning the next time we're in town. read more

Our new favorite restaurant in Guerneville! We shared the quesadilla, pupusas, red snapper and vegan risotto (which you wouldn't even know was vegan) - all incredibly delicious. Kid-friendly, excellent cocktails, great service. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for an amazing meal! read more

Ordered chips with salsa and guac to share. Really good. I ordered the al pastor ribs and that was delicious. Very good flavor. Meat fell off the bone. Even though it is listed as an appetizer, it can definitely be a entree too. read more

Truly stunning flavors and service! This was hands down the best meal I've eaten in months. My partner and I stumbled across this place on our trip Guerneville and ate here on their 7th day open. Special shoutout to the manager, Max, who chatted us up while we were checking out the menu from outside! This review is a little bit of a novel, but I have to gush about this place. The service: Friendly, shockingly smooth and organized for day 7 of opening (another shoutout to Max who was gently guiding staff when they missed something). The vibe: Warm and inviting, There were two, two-person tables outside on the sidewalk if you have a preference for outdoor dining (usually I do, but we are inside because it was cold and also the ambiance is definitely better than the sidewalk). Drinks: Menu has a mix of Mexican and local beers, local wines, and Mexican sodas. I got the 2019 woodenhead brut and my partner got the 2024 desire lines Sauvignon Blanc, both were great and went well with our meal. The Menu: in case you missed it, the "Three Cultures" in the restaurant name are Mexican, Salvadorian, and American. The menu is pretty vegetarian/pescatarian-friendly, one vegan entree. The Food: Chips, salsa, and guac -- 10/10!!! The chips came out hot and fresh, were a mix of yellow and blue corn chips, and were the right thickness/sturdiness to hold up the guac. The guacamole was the perfect ratio of creamy and chunky, salt and acid, a had just a tiny bit of heat. The salsa roja and salsa verde were so good I wanted to slather them on everything I ate (which I did). They were thick enough you could scoop them onto your chip, both had the perfect amount of heat. The salsa roja was a balance of smoky and spicy, and the salsa verde was bright, tangy, and slightly spicier than the red. Grilled corn ribs, chili oil, chipotle and cilantro mayo, cotija cheese -- 10/10 again! Incredible. Charred flavor, messy in the best way, fun to eat. The corn was juicy and tender and came off the cob easily (you'll still wish you had a toothpick after eating), and the sauces were creamy and spicy, and it was all even better if you slather on some of the salsas that came with the chips. Pupusa (zucchini) - 8/10 Tasty, but I think because we had just eaten two total flavor-bomb dishes, this felt a little muted in comparison. I love pupusas, and I think this could have had more filling, and the filling needed more salt. The curtido for me needed more acid, which I think also would have made it juicier which I would have enjoyed. The salsa roja was great, and it helped the dish to pour all of it over the pupusa to make sure you got enough flavor. I think if I were to repeat the meal, I'd want to eat this before blowing my palate on the other dishes. Spicy aguachile shrimp, cucumber, red onions, avocado, cilantro, corn tostada -- 11/10!!! You have an option of black, red, or green salsa for this and when we asked about the difference in flavor profiles we were told that black was mild, red was spicy, and green was extra spicy. They were out of the green, so we got red. This dish was truly incredible and oddly nostalgic. I grew up eating pepino con chile (aka cucumber doused in Valentina) and this dish evoked that flavor profile in the most comforting, nostalgic, but also totally elevated way. The shrimp was plump and absolutely perfect, the cucumber gave the dish that refreshing feeling, and it was all just so bright, acidic, tangy, and spicy! I had to ask for a spoon so I could slurp down every last drop. I would drive up from the bay just to eat that dish again. Churros with dulce de leche - 10/10 this was the dessert they offered and we had to say yes! The churros were hot, crispy, and fresh, and you can never go wrong dunking anything in dulce de leche. My partner and I were seriously blown away by this place! I hope that they stick around for a while so that we can come back on our next trip to Guerneville! read more

Fabulous food, great service and lively, inviting dining room. A new favorite for our roster in Guerneville.

The food was very good but one specific server was very rude disrespectfull it also took a long long time to get our food. I would not recommend this business read more

Very expensive, smallish portions. We had the shrimp special, the corn ribs appetizer, the cheese chile relleno--rice, small salad, one relleno) The dishes tend to be very hot spice-wise. 3 items. Total with tip was over $90. Crazy. I won't be going back any time soon. read more

SO good. I don't usually write reviews, but seeing in that there aren't many on Yelp I wanted to share my thoughts. DELICIOUS. NICEST SERVERS. GLUTEN FREE. UNIQUELY AUTHENTIC. The place was packed for dinner, but we were seated after 15 minutes and tended to promptly. For dinner we ordered the pupusas and the relleno. Both were delicious, with generous portions. For dessert, we enjoyed the churros, which I usually can't eat bc I'm gluten intolerant. Insanely good. read more

Such amazing Mexican/Salvadorian/American food! The Chips are freshly made daily and ordered their side of Salsa Roja, which was so flavorful (mix of tangy, spices, and hotness). I didn't expect such flavor. The Chicken Mole was delicious, it's one of my go to plates and I would give this mole a 10/10. Indoor atmosphere is lovely. I like the open kitchen concept, you can see everything being made. Highly recommend. read more

5 Star!! For someone's first time in the Russian River- which was the case for me - to stumble across this hidden gem was a true highlight for my wife and I. The ambience and chic, plus service was equal to any modern downtown big city vibe but wrapped in a personal local touch. Vegan risotto was phenomenal and the chips and guacamole and salsa just delightful. Chips came out hot and fresh, which was a nice added bonus. Good local wines in the menu, Korbel's local influence included!:-) The owner popped out to say hi and we appreciated him. We thought it was such a great experience that we simply can't wait to come back again with a bigger appetite for local staycation #2 of 2026! read more

Three Cultures Kitchen - Pre meal aperitif-- Three Cultures Kitchen - Salvadoran Near Me - Guerneville, California

Very yummy food. The pupusas were incredible. I only wish there were a few more menu options but no complaints about the food on the menu. Great vibe and friendly staff. read more

The service is good. The food - not so much. Everything lacked soul/flavor/salt. The papusa had NO flavor and the dough was chewy - extremely overpriced. The slaw is good but they gave my the tiniest amount. The salsa roja was flavor-less! I added some salt and lemon and then it was better. For El Salvadorian food this was feeling very white washed/watered down. The chips were yummy - the guacamole basic - again NO flavor. Everything tasted like nothing. The churros were raw in the middle. The chicken thighs had chewy skin and barely any meat on them. The mole was actually good but the chicken made it impossible to eat. Everything felt really overpriced. Very dissatisfied. My second attempt to give this place a try and felt the same both times. Too bad I was excited to have pupusas in town and wanted to support them. I will NOT eat here for the 3rd time. read more

I loved my meal. Soooooo delicious. I don't usually review places I eat but I had to give a huge shout out for my grilled corn ribs (amazing sauce and flavor), chile relleno, and frise salad. Excellent dinner! The flavors were outstanding, complex, and artfully combined. We enjoyed everything we ordered immensely, from the octopus tacos, the top quality hamburger, and the scrumptious papusas, to the-made-to -order churros. Wonderful fusion of interesting flavors. This is not a burrito bar. It is much more elevated. Great staff. 100% worth the money.

Great service, even better food. Best chili relleno of my life ! And the pupusas were delicious as well. Great dining experience!

I love this food and I'm giving 5 stars because the owner of this place is my uncle but I would recommend coming here the food is amazing

0/5 churros: me and my partner came here to order the churros as a dessert to go. They were pretty busy with other orders and other customers and the restaurant service was nice and polite. The to go s took longer because I think they forgot about our to go order. when we received our order; The churros were burnt ,crunchy and oily, which was disappointing and they literally looked like dog poop read more

Not a great experience. Disinterested server who didn't give us the specials or ask about our partially eaten plates. We ordered the pork belly and the shrimp and I would strongly suggest not ordering either. The pork belly was tough, overcooked, parts of it inedible. The shrimp was also tough and the dish unappetizing. So wanted to love this place given the description, strong reviews and packed house. read more
