The follow ups are 30 minutes long. She does not see 40/50 patients a day spending 5 minutes each. It is a bummer that she does not accept insurance, but in other hand, no insurance will give her a hard time. More than once my regular doctor told me he could not ask for this or that because the insurance would not pay for. We love Dr. Tais.

She drove to Fresno and during the course of a few visits she was led to believe that she had been in an abusive relationship with me as the abuser for over forty years. There were no attempts to contact family in an effort to get the whole story. Seeds of doubt were planted in the mind of a fragile soul. He encouraged her to go to a center that focused on domestic abuse. She was driven there by the woman that recommended his services. She told me that he was a licensed therapist and that she was seeing him for counseling. That was what she believed. For her it appeared to be a one stop shop for all of her needs. At the time she began seeing him she had been in counseling for approximately four years. We were in couples counseling together. She was asked to leave the place she was staying with the woman that referred her to "Dr Rob" due to her manic behavior. She lived on the streets for six months and racked up tons of debt. She is struggling to survive daily living in a group home. She has completely isolated herself. She has limited her involvement with her children and grandchildren to almost nothing. She has not seen her grandchildren in almost 2 years. She struggles to find a reason to get out of bed. She trusted him completely, until she didn't. It's ok to do a legitimate background check on service providers. Spend a few dollars and know what you are getting yourself into. You have to do you. I'm so incredibly impressed with his attention to detail and efforts to really get to the root cause of what was wrong. He's careful to take time with each patient and really listen to what is going on. Then he carefully decides the action plan, carefully selects the types of tests he needs to run to identify the root of the problem and utilizes the information to get his patients well from the inside out. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and deep down he IS genuinely a good person. So many other GI doctors just want to prescribe their patients a bunch of medications to cover up the problems. Dr Mark really wants to get you better! And the staff is always friendly and helpful.
