We made a pit spot on our way back home from Gatlinburg. It was lunch time and the place was crowded. They ask to sit at a any clean table. Service was great! And the food was delicious! The name of this restaurant has changed, but the location is the same. The iced tea was excellent and the service very good, fast and pleasant. My friend wanted Mexican on his birthday and he was happy with the fajitas. They looked good. The chips were thin, warm and the salsa was good, not too spicy. The guacamole was extended with something and not very good. My enchilada was old and tough so I ate about 1/4 of it. It is hard to make money in Canton. Horrible food. I think I'd be better off eating at Taco Bell! The service was great, which is why I gave 2 stars, but the food had absolutely no flavor to it. I wonder if this is due to the fact that Canton is primarily white and people around here do not know authentic Mexican food, but one would think that the chiefs in the kitchen would add some genuine flavor to their cooking. Probably one of the best tortas I have ever had! My co-workers and I ear here a few times a month and we always have enjoyed our food. Standard Mexican fare that you'll find in the majority of restaurants in the area, but the tortas are what really stand out. With delicious meats, a pile of toppings and the authentic bread that really makes them outstanding. And if you're really hungry, try the Torta Cubana, with chicken, carnitas, eggs and chorizo and more, you won't be hungry for a while!
