Super sweet staff, very organized.. the clothes are a wide range from vintage to chic fashion. Pricing is not terrible, there were a few items over 20$ but overall good quality. read more

Extremely disappointing experience at Threads. The store is filled with low-quality, outdated merchandise, yet the employees seem extremely picky about what they accept. I brought in good-condition name-brand clothing and shoes from brands like Polo, Nike, Patagonia, and RVCA, and was offered an extremely low amount for it. The employees seemed to have little understanding of clothing quality, brand value, or what actually sells. It felt like they were judging items based on personal taste rather than their actual resale value. I understand that a thrift store needs to make money, but the offers were nowhere near reasonable for the quality of the clothing. If you have good name-brand clothes to sell, I'd recommend going somewhere else or selling them yourself. read more

I've shopped here for years and really enjoy it! They also host fun little events from time to time and are really supportive of the local community. read more

Clothing is pretty good for second hand store. That being said if you're looking to sell they are very picky and don't give you much for your clothing. Ambiance is nice and employees are sweet too. read more

The store is amazing everything is beautiful and clean outstanding service love and light everywhere above and beyond customer service at the register the selection is outstanding from high end to just the right budget thank you for your business keep going. read more

This is a well-maintained and merchandised resale shop with good quality clothing and shoes. Some of the shoes are featured above the clothing, but they do have a separate section as well. The prices here may not be full retail, but they appear to be twice what Goodwill prices are. However, I would say the quality of the items here are better than much of what you would find at a Goodwill. They have six spacious dressing rooms to try things on and a uni-sex bathroom. If you have some good quality clothing that you wish to part with, they will purchase it from you. Definitely a ladies store. read more

My favorite thrift store anywhere! This is a must stop whenever I'm in Corpus! The selection is curated and very affordable. Everyone is bound to find something they love! They also have accessories like hats, jewelry, cute hair stuff and purses. They also have a great shoe selection. I've gotten so many good pieces here. The staff is always bright and helpful! You can tell they love thrifting as much as we do! I'm also a huge fan of their Instagram page which updates daily! They always post new arrivals as well as outfit inspiration. I loveeee Threads! read more

Came here after seeing Threads listed as a place to check out on a Corpus Christi tourist Twitter feed. We were NOT disappointed as we shopped here. Parking and location was easy to find/get to. Loved the huge glass windows so that you can window shop before you even get inside the store. I am a big bodied lady and the company that was with me is as well so often times it is difficult to find cute things that will fit and look good on us. We were able to find plenty of gently used and BRAND NEW clothing here at Threads. We walked out with dresses, skirts, shirts, & even a nice beautiful flow-y wrap. The guys with us also found some nice shirts that were all decently priced. After shopping and spending time in Austin trying to find vintage and cool finds I found that Threads was top notch and above the rest. Consider this place a cooler and better version of a Buffalo Exchange without all the price gouging. The store is laid out very nicely. All displays were easy to find, see what sizes you were browsing, and tags and pricing were clearly marked. Be sure to text the number that is displayed all over the store (dressing rooms, front door, or register) so that you can get a % off of your purchase. Also you should get a stamp card for discounts as well when you check out as it can be applied to purchases you make over their Instagram account (they can ship your items for free!). Will definitely be back when I am in town again and might even plan on bringing some of my own threads to see what I can get for them :) read more

Don't bother. I don't believe they examine the clothing you take it I took bags and bags of clothing with prices tags still on it A few minutes later , they said they were examining it Impossible read more

Love this shopping spot ! The staff is always super nice and helpful. Always find treasures here. Can't wait to go back !

Super cute place! Only have S,M,L sizes. They are organized though. Their dressing rooms are HUGE and they have a single stall bathroom. The employees are nice and they will take your things and set up a changing room for you. They do have a men section and they sell shoes as well. The place is clean and you can find all sorts of different things. They also sell purses, stickers and jewelry. They also have a selfie station!!! #Support-Local-Business read more

This place gets 2 stars only because I found a lululemon bra for $18. Other than their workout section there wasn't very much to offer for large/extra-large clothing. There's lots of goodwill type clothes on the racks. I also tried to sell a ton of clothes (2 laundry baskets) to them and they took nothing. There was a Kendra Scott necklace, Kate spade wristlets, Converse, Old Navy, a pair of Levi's, and Betsy Johnson wallet but it's all apparently "out of style" and "not what sells in their store". Sorry but Kendra and Kate Spade never go out of style. I also had folded everything nice and neatly and when I picked up my baskets everything was a mess. Never going back to sell! I'll stick with Plato's and Poshmark! read more

Prices too high for preowned clothes. Not a great selection. Didn't find anything thing I liked

Love coming here to sell my clothes. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Really appreciate their assistance loading and unloading my car - makes life so much easier with a baby in tow read more

Nice stuff every time I go in. Employees are a bit rude. When I walked in none of them said "Hello." Then, about two minutes later, someone else walked in and they're like "Hi, welcome to threads." I would appreciate kinder employees for a more welcome shopping experience. I tried to sell two pairs of Levi High Waisted Jean shorts, that I paid $100 for, and they would only give me $8 for each pair = $16 total. Then they would probably list them for $20. Not cool. Not selling anything here. Maybe the next time I go in they will be kinder. read more

I have been shopping at Threads for a while and have a love/hate relationship with this place. I've found plenty of nice clothes here for decent price that I still use to this day, however these kinds of pieces only come once in a blue moon. Threads has a "type" when it comes to their clothes, so selling here is not easy. They didn't buy something that I bought FROM THREADS, saying it was out of style. They added a boutique line, which is nice if you're size medium or smaller. Anything above that and there won't really be anything for you. Also getting a job here seems impossible. If you're not a cali girl surfer or k-pop e girl you should go somewhere else to seek employment. read more

5 stars as a shopping experience. I always find interesting things here and even if they don't work for me, I have fun trying on. I appreciate that their discount days, stamp cards for purchases, and that they encourage re-usable bags! Hope to find more professional clothing options in the future. Even though I'm not super creative with my style, their staff instagram picks are always inspiring! 3 stars as a buying experience. I haven't quite figured out their preferences for what they buy and don't buy. They seem very picky, but then again, maybe that's why I always seem to find cute things when I go to the store. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! Women owned and lead local business with great clothes! The prices are good and the quality of the clothes are either new or like new. I never go to thrift shops because they never have my sizes but this place did And I loved what I got! read more

They always have great deals, AMAZING staff and great prices. Very fair bids on the clothing you bring in to resale. Would definitely prefer going here over any of the other clothes buying stores in Corpus Christi. read more

I can't imagine giving this place less than five stars. Every time I visit corpus, even if it's just for the weekend I make sure to stop at threads. I love this store, it has the same quality clothes as Buffalo Exchange but the prices are so fair and that's why I love it. I have gotten some great clothes over the years from threads and they are always my favorite things in my closet. I love thrift stores but this one is my favorite. They also give you a discount after you complete their punch card. Love this place. read more

My biggest complaint with Threads is their inconsistency. They wouldn't take one of my dresses because they claimed a thread was sticking out, and another dress they claimed had a "worn" texture, when that was the texture the dress came in. The first time I went to a Threads (at their old location) I had bought a dress that was missing a button and had an easily jamable zipper, so they gave me a discounted price on it. Good customer service! The last time I went, the dress I bought had holes in it and loose threads, but I didnt notice until I got home. Anyway, if they're willing to sell clothes that aren't in tip-top shape, why wouldn't they take mine? The staff is very nice there, but the clothes is sometimes priced too expensive for my taste. Every now and then I think I get a really good find, but then I find that the blouse is torn in some way. Platos Closet has more of a selection and is not only cheaper, but has better quality. I love the idea of Threads, I just feel like it could be executed better. read more

I had a lovely time while being at threads. I love that the selection seems like it was carefully picked out instead of everything being put on the shelves. I found so many gems and think that the customer service was great as well. The employees always checked up on me to make sure I didn't have too many things on my hand and took my clothing items to the front for me while I was shopping. Overall, I found myself enjoying my time shopping and will definitely be going back because of how organized and put together the place is. read more

Threads is literally my GO TO place to shop!! Not only do they have a good amount of clothing in store, they're always so sweet and willing to help out. Need an outfit for date night? A fancy event? A girls trip? They've got you! Everyone who works there has their own style and is always willing to help you find something that fits yours. I always tell anyone who asks about certain items of mine to check out Threads if they haven't. Most places seem to cater to just one style... there's an eclectic range of things here to choose from. What's even better is there's a decent range of sizes and you can't beat the prices! If you can't find something that hits the mark the day you go, don't be discouraged. The beauty of this store is that there's literally something new EVERY DAY! On top of the shopping perks, this place offers an area to sell your clothing. I know I've made some decent money here cleaning my closet! If you have any questions, the staff is great at letting you know what they're looking for and how the process works. Go check out this INCREDIBLE, LOCALLY OWNED store! It's definitely worth it. (: --shopping hack, don't forget to sign up for their text program at the register! Thank me later :P read more

Took a huge bag of clothes here and wasted 2 hours of my time to be told they weren't buying any of them because they were either "out of style" or bad quality. I don't know how clothes with tags still on them can be labeled as bad quality but whatever. Don't waste your time. Might as well drop your clothes at goodwill read more

Nice boutique-style second hand store. Clean. Well organized. Some items were well-priced (especially clearance items). Most items were in good condition. Staff is friendly. Clothing selection is limited. read more

Every since they made the move to Mcardel, right across from Burlington, I've been a repeat customer. I love this place and the staff are super friendly! They always have cute things for sale and I never leave without something I love. Some may say that they're selective in their buying options, but I think that's a good thing. It sets them apart from other regular resale places where you really have to dig to find something great. Threads only takes the best when buying, so that I know I'll always have a place where I can find trendy, fashionable clothing. And did I mention their prices are stellar? read more

Just go to Plato's. They will give you way more for your items that have tags on them compared to here. Threads is really going downhill!

Go shop at Threads! It's a small business privately owned by a great person who is friendly, kind, and as helpful as they come. So are the staff members, for that matter. Great styles are the only kind for sale there; you won't have to dig through peoples' discarded rags and donated junk. You're sure to find something you love! Shop local! read more

Great place to buy secondhand clothes or sell them! The styles seem more mature than Plato's Closet (coming from someone who is in her late 20's now), but everything is still in style. Staff has been friendly every time I've gone in. I also like that its locally owned! : ) read more

Perfect place to buy second had. It is extremely affordable and well organized compared to it's counterparts like Plato's Closet. HOWEVER do not sell here they are not consistent at all. maybe it's because the changing staff or because the girls just are consistent with their buying requirements. very fickle. The staff is super friendly though! Beautiful store as well read more

A really great resale stop for the girls and guys who are into modern trends. I work for a similar type of store and the atmosphere was really nice. The only complaint I have is they need more inventory, my boyfriend found a cute American eagle shirt for only 12$! Next time I am down south I will be returning. I'm sure if I wasn't such a picky shopper i would have found something here. Even though I didn't find anything for me I enjoyed the store. read more

This store has some super cute clothes at reasonable prices. Similar to a Buffalo Exchange. However, I went in intending to sell some items and was very disappointed. I had a large bag with a variety of clothes. I had multiple pairs of designer jeans (Seven for all mankind, true religion and citizens of humanity) and some other tops and dresses that I spent a pretty penny on. I was so confused when I went back to see what they had decided to take. Two sun dresses from target....? I would go here and there to see what they have, but don't plan on selling your items. There are quite a few of other fun thrift stores around. read more
