This is a well-maintained and merchandised resale shop with good quality clothing and shoes. Some of the shoes are featured above the clothing, but they do have a separate section as well. The prices here may not be full retail, but they appear to be twice what Goodwill prices are. However, I would say the quality of the items here are better than much of what you would find at a Goodwill. They have six spacious dressing rooms to try things on and a uni-sex bathroom. If you have some good quality clothing that you wish to part with, they will purchase it from you. Definitely a ladies store. read more

My favorite thrift store anywhere! This is a must stop whenever I'm in Corpus! The selection is curated and very affordable. Everyone is bound to find something they love! They also have accessories like hats, jewelry, cute hair stuff and purses. They also have a great shoe selection. I've gotten so many good pieces here. The staff is always bright and helpful! You can tell they love thrifting as much as we do! I'm also a huge fan of their Instagram page which updates daily! They always post new arrivals as well as outfit inspiration. Came here after seeing Threads listed as a place to check out on a Corpus Christi tourist Twitter feed. We were NOT disappointed as we shopped here. Parking and location was easy to find/get to. Loved the huge glass windows so that you can window shop before you even get inside the store. I am a big bodied lady and the company that was with me is as well so often times it is difficult to find cute things that will fit and look good on us. We were able to find plenty of gently used and BRAND NEW clothing here at Threads. We walked out with dresses, skirts, shirts, & even a nice beautiful flow-y wrap. The guys with us also found some nice shirts that were all decently priced. After shopping and spending time in Austin trying to find vintage and cool finds I found that Threads was top notch and above the rest. Consider this place a cooler and better version of a Buffalo Exchange without all the price gouging. The store is laid out very nicely. All displays were easy to find, see what sizes you were browsing, and tags and pricing were clearly marked. Be sure to text the number that is displayed all over the store (dressing rooms, front door, or register) so that you can get a % off of your purchase. Also you should get a stamp card for discounts as well when you check out as it can be applied to purchases you make over their Instagram account (they can ship your items for free!). Will definitely be back when I am in town again and might even plan on bringing some of my own threads to see what I can get for them :) read more

Super cute place! Only have S,M,L sizes. They are organized though. Their dressing rooms are HUGE and they have a single stall bathroom. The employees are nice and they will take your things and set up a changing room for you. They do have a men section and they sell shoes as well. This place gets 2 stars only because I found a lululemon bra for $18. Other than their workout section there wasn't very much to offer for large/extra-large clothing. There's lots of goodwill type clothes on the racks. I also tried to sell a ton of clothes (2 laundry baskets) to them and they took nothing. There was a Kendra Scott necklace, Kate spade wristlets, Converse, Old Navy, a pair of Levi's, and Betsy Johnson wallet but it's all apparently "out of style" and "not what sells in their store". Sorry but Kendra and Kate Spade never go out of style. I also had folded everything nice and neatly and when I picked up my baskets everything was a mess. Never going back to sell! Nice stuff every time I go in. Employees are a bit rude. When I walked in none of them said "Hello." Then, about two minutes later, someone else walked in and they're like "Hi, welcome to threads." I would appreciate kinder employees for a more welcome shopping experience. I tried to sell two pairs of Levi High Waisted Jean shorts, that I paid $100 for, and they would only give me $8 for each pair = $16 total. Then they would probably list them for $20. Not cool. Not selling anything here. Maybe the next time I go in they will be kinder. read more

I have been shopping at Threads for a while and have a love/hate relationship with this place. I've found plenty of nice clothes here for decent price that I still use to this day, however these kinds of pieces only come once in a blue moon. Threads has a "type" when it comes to their clothes, so selling here is not easy. They didn't buy something that I bought FROM THREADS, saying it was out of style. They added a boutique line, which is nice if you're size medium or smaller. Anything above that and there won't really be anything for you. Also getting a job here seems impossible. If you're not a cali girl surfer or k-pop e girl you should go somewhere else to seek employment. read more

5 stars as a shopping experience. I always find interesting things here and even if they don't work for me, I have fun trying on. I appreciate that their discount days, stamp cards for purchases, and that they encourage re-usable bags! Hope to find more professional clothing options in the future. I can't imagine giving this place less than five stars. Every time I visit corpus, even if it's just for the weekend I make sure to stop at threads. I love this store, it has the same quality clothes as Buffalo Exchange but the prices are so fair and that's why I love it. I have gotten some great clothes over the years from threads and they are always my favorite things in my closet. I love thrift stores but this one is my favorite. My biggest complaint with Threads is their inconsistency. They wouldn't take one of my dresses because they claimed a thread was sticking out, and another dress they claimed had a "worn" texture, when that was the texture the dress came in. The first time I went to a Threads (at their old location) I had bought a dress that was missing a button and had an easily jamable zipper, so they gave me a discounted price on it. Good customer service! The last time I went, the dress I bought had holes in it and loose threads, but I didnt notice until I got home. Anyway, if they're willing to sell clothes that aren't in tip-top shape, why wouldn't they take mine? The staff is very nice there, but the clothes is sometimes priced too expensive for my taste. Every now and then I think I get a really good find, but then I find that the blouse is torn in some way. Platos Closet has more of a selection and is not only cheaper, but has better quality. I love the idea of Threads, I just feel like it could be executed better. read more

I found so many gems and think that the customer service was great as well. Every since they made the move to Mcardel, right across from Burlington, I've been a repeat customer. I love this place and the staff are super friendly! They always have cute things for sale and I never leave without something I love. Some may say that they're selective in their buying options, but I think that's a good thing. A really great resale stop for the girls and guys who are into modern trends. I work for a similar type of store and the atmosphere was really nice. The only complaint I have is they need more inventory, my boyfriend found a cute American eagle shirt for only 12$! Next time I am down south I will be returning. This store has some super cute clothes at reasonable prices. Similar to a Buffalo Exchange. However, I went in intending to sell some items and was very disappointed. I had a large bag with a variety of clothes. I had multiple pairs of designer jeans (Seven for all mankind, true religion and citizens of humanity) and some other tops and dresses that I spent a pretty penny on. I was so confused when I went back to see what they had decided to take. Two sun dresses from target....? I would go here and there to see what they have, but don't plan on selling your items. if you have nice clothes and shoes don't waste your time I had brand-new never worn Nike dunks they offered me $10 I would've took 20 but the shoes retail or 160 to 66.. don't insult me.. shoes they are selling their have skin flakes and toe cheese jammed in the heels and I sell shoes for a living at Dillards so I know exactly what those little white flakes on the shoes are... their purses there are tattered and torn all of their clothes is over worn it's not gently used I really do not understand how they are in business. The store is actually just full of Dillards 65% off items that people bought impulsively and then later regretted because when things go 65% at Dillards they're typically already torn, sequins are coming off and they just needed to get rid of it before we toss it. It's pretty much the items that customers have ruined and it's their last chance to get rid of it .. A lot of the clothes clearly has stains on it it was such a waste of my time I can't believe people actually give this place a good review I wish there was a place to take my gently used or never used items that I just need to get rid of but out of spite I'm just gonna go give my nikes to a homeless person because why not . read more

I visit from Austin frequently, and this is the one place I look forward to visiting. I always find gems here for SO cheap compared to the consignment stores in Austin. The prices are fair and the prices are relatively fair when selling here too. My only gripe is that I had a lot of brand new, name brand clothes when I tried selling here. I was told the pieces they couldn't take were due to the condition. That's completely understandable however my clothes were in mint condition and I've seen so many shoes on the racks that are so dirty on the inside and bottom! I've also seen some questionable articles of clothing that makes me wonder how they were accepted too. Their method for picking clothes confuses me, but overall the prices are so affordable, there's always a hidden gem, and the staff is extremely sweet!
