The employees are amazing! My son's Oklahoma baseball team came to Corpus to play ball for Spring break. I went souvenir shopping earlier in the week and one of my items accidentally got left out of my bag. As soon as I noticed days later when I got home, I called the store and spoke with Cierra. She and her manager, Cali, were very sweet and understanding. They apologized and wanted to make the situation right. Cierra worked with me to find the exact missing item and I will be taken care of soon. It is hard to find such wonderful customer service these days! It was the first store we stopped at from seeing the huge shark mouth in front. It's a requirement to take photos and selfies inside the mouth. After a few photos I walked through the mouth to enter the store. It big with a super high ceiling and looked very clean and organized. The apparel was high quality and same with beach items. All name brand stuff here. I noticed the make-your-own T-shirts had no tacky adult humor iron-on prints on the selection wall. They had a huge selection of sandals too. If you are looking for higher quality merchandise then this place is for you. read more

We love kitchy souvenir shops while we are on vacation. We drove by this place a number of times and remember it by the large shark in front of the store. One night after dinner we decided to check it out. They close at 9pm and we arrived at 8:30pm. The store was quiet with maybe 3 sets of customers in there including us. One of them was checking out and another was speaking to someone at the counter. As I wandered the store, I noticed all the name brand items with elevated prices. I get it, it's retail. When I rounded the aisles with the Olukai sandals, I was met by a girl who had the "WTF are you doing here?! Trying to steal shit from me?!" look. As I shopped around the sandals, I would glance back once in awhile towards the dressing rooms where she sat and she would be glaring at me. I guess she didn't want our business. We left at 8:50 to make it across the street to Pacific Islander and had a far better experience. That is the place to go, not here. read more

I spent over $70 for only 2 pairs of water shoes, 2 magnets, a little sand souvenir, sunscreen and a kite. The shoes were alright not the best, which is unbelievable because of the damn price of them. ANYWAYS I won't be coming here again because 1.) It's Overpriced! , 2.) While we did get some good clothes and shoes at this store, there were some issues with the place. Their policy of not returning swim wear made it so we couldn't return a pair of sixty dollar shorts but we could return a water shirt. The shorts still had tags and weren't even tried on. How does this work considering they also allowed us to try on swim trunks when we were in the store and when the swim shirt is also a swim item? This policy is confusing and is in need of revision. On top of that, we bought a frisbee that broke when we first used it. Seems as though this store needs to revisit how they run things. What store has three managers? When we went to ask to see a manager the woman said, "well there's three managers: me, her, and the other guy is upstairs but they'll tell you the same thing." This shop had so many options to choose from and at all different budget types. This is a pretty large store and there were souvenirs throughout the entire store! I should add that if you have girls as we do, it also makes for fun pics both inside the store and out! The young men and women working in there were very attentive to us when we had questions and upon check out. Love this place. Employees are quick to help and answer questions. They also have employees walking the floor and organizing when they can. Towels, sunscreen, boogie boards, water shoes, rash guards, name brand beach clothing and swimsuits, good shoe/beach hat selection and plenty more. The employees also let us know their policies before our purchase, which was appreciated. They also wrapped our glass souvenirs. Shark entrance is a perfect place for family photos! I walked in here to buy a swim suit for my and my girlfriend. My parents are divorced so therefore the last names didn't match up while I was trying to use my moms card. After showing pictures from Facebook with PROOF that she was my mom and also asking if they could call my mom to talk to her... they still denied us. After the staff at the front counter, one was a mid 20s man, while the other was a mid 20s female. Very rude and disrespectful to me and my girlfriend. We are now decided to make port a a nude beach because this place Would not let us swipe the card. Like come on it's not like we are buying a new boat. I would never recommend this place again. Better off going to mirage beach wear. Much more selection and way cheaper. And a nicer staff! read more

Third Coast has everything you need to hang out at the beach that you forgot at home which maybe 2 hours away. Priced like your typical Zumiez or Van's store, there's plenty of Roxy, Billabong, Hurley and a ton other name brand clothing and accessories here. You might find some unique clothing items branded for Third Coast at affordable rates too. Naturally there are sunglasses, beach floats and don't forget to capture a photo in the ginormous shark face at the entrance which entices passing buyers. Avoid this store at all costs if you care about Covid safety at all. All staff have their masks around their chins and over half of the clientele are unmasked. My daughter spent $105 on a swimsuit there yesterday, got it home and discovered the top didn't fit well. They would not take it back or exchange it. Their policy is not posted anywhere or even stated at checkout. I went today to make an attempt at a return or exchange, but I had to leave the store because of Covid risk. There were long lines and everyone around me in line was unmasked. When I asked a cashier if they would help me so that a high risk person wouldn't have to wait in line with unmasked patrons, she rudely stated, "no." Overpriced, unsafe, rude- avoid the store with the shark out front. read more

This place is okay. I usually stop in all gift shops just to see what they have to offer. This is one of those shops that has all the name brand clothes. I was kinda looking around for a new bikini top but this place was not the one to get it at lol. They have a lot of stuff you'd probably find at a place like zumiez, a lot of the swimsuits and clothes are $40 and up (adults) not all but a lot. They do have a pretty good selection of cheap beachy jewelry but that's all I would buy from here. Like another reviewer said, I'm sure they have good off season sales. read more

The selection of brand names and items is great. They have really nice items. However the selection of employees and management was disappointing. I went to this shop 4 times while i was on vacation, with different family members, and bought something each time. On the last trip I noticed a promotion they were running that I would have been eligible for. When I asked the kid manager in charge he was very reluctant to try and help me and all he could say was sorry but there's nothing I can do. Very bad and disappointing answer. Customer service is lacking! Purchased three pair of board shorts and three t-shirts, one of which had no price tag. One worker stated it was the last one with no tag. Three different workers quoted four different prices, ultimately I was charged the HIGHEST price. I made a comment that items should be check to make sure everything has a price tag. The 'manager' (young 20 something female) stated "It's pretty good to have only one item without a price tag considering all the merchandise that is in the store" - then she walked away. Terrible customer service. Stopped in here to find a new suit. Found one I loved but very pricey. Still I purchased it. The sales person told me final sale which I was fine with until I walked out the door and realized I grabbed the wrong pair of bottoms. I turned around and walked right back in, 90 seconds later. I said "I must've grabbed the wrong pair and asked if I could swap". The staff was immediately rude and unwavering. I do understand the need for policy but there is a such thing as a certain level of customer service. It wasn't like I went home wore the suit and came back trying to return it. I literally walked out the door then turned around and walked right back in. Again I was speaking to the manager and she was extremely rude! All they could do is continue to repeat their policy over and over again. I do not recommend this store. read more

How lucky to catch the end of the season sale. I bought quite a few sundresses of great quality for buy one, get one half price. I had been looking for a few things to bring to Cozumel in November, but everything so far seemed cheap and formless fitting. Third Coast has beautiful, creative lounge wear. I always seem to come in the off season, which is good and bad. .I love having the store to myself, but seems that bc there is no business what so ever in the off season, there isn't any new stuff ordered so there is a poor size selection. But there is also a ton of sales and I always leave with a lot. I like the selection this store has, much better than the mainstream mall. Also, there are these GREAT sales ladies here. This one tall girl, don't know her name since they don't wear name tags, always seems to know exactly what i'm looking for and if they don't have it, then lets me know where I can get it.. That's a nice change. I recomend this store to anybody who likes surf and skate brands and also to all visitors, they have a nice souvenir selection as well. read more
