This is the MAIN spot for souvenirs and such when on the island! I loved going in here and doing some browsing. They have the cutest beach towels and super cute women's beach fashions. I got a super cute off the shoulder dress for a great deal which I was not at all expecting. They also have a great variety of swimwear if that is what you desire. Really anything you forgot to grab from home while at the beach or want to bring home to friends and fam they will have. Loved the artwork on the outside of the store as well. read more

I decided to stop here because my wife wanted a sand dollar. I pull into the parking lot to see a little submarine in front of the place. She goes in and I take photos of it. Afterwards I walk inside in a maze of racks of T-shirts. Once passed it I was in a normal organized store. I roamed around seeing the same items from other beach souvenir stores. There was a few different items and the prices here were very reasonable. I found a stuffed sea turtle made by Aurora (Destination Nation) which is high quality. My wife got a Padre Island cap along with a sand dollar and starfish. This store had a little of everything coastal related and seems half the store is apparel. They sell live crabs where you also get a wide accessories for it. You can also choose a T-shirt color and pick which design you want imprinted on it. They have a huge selection of things -- jewelry, decor, hermit crabs, art, mugs, clothing, beach toys/supplies, trinkets, magnets, keychains, accessories, etc. My kid got a defective shell nightlight and we were able to exchange it with no problem. I came in only for some post cards. I stayed to look around, discovering there is not a rest room, which was not good, but so many neat things. Some things were of good quality, others were typical touristy things. Post cards were 6 for $1, and some decent ones to be found with a decent variety. There were some neat ornaments, wooden boats, signs you can hang in your home, jewelry and tons of clothing. I was hoping they had a miniature bay bridge, since it will soon be torn down. Nothing was crazy expensive and even had a number of name brands at decent prices. I would recommend coming here and checking it out. This is a great tourist shop. We came in here looking for a hat for my husband. They had a great selection and he was able to get something that covered his head and provided shade for his neck. Great seashell shop on North Padre Island. You can't miss it driving down 361, has a huge submarine in front of it which is sweet. They sell everything a normal sea shell shop does, including: hermit crabs, nightlights, shells, hats, shirts, clothing wear, shoes, sunscreen, to household decorative items. They are very clean and the bathrooms are located on the ouside only down part, but its understandable since it's usually sandy patrons from the beach. Great parking, and you have a bar/restaurant next door as well as a convenience store, and a hotel not far down the street. The staff is helpful and prices are some of the best on the Island for shell shops. Check it out. read more

I was told by the front desk that it was a dog friendly place. I brought my weenie dogs inside the store. I was greeted by members of the store with no issue...until some older woman with blonde hair mid to late 50's told me to leave or carry my dogs. I had no problem with anything, but the lady was extremely rude and I felt disrespected. I had to leave my pregnant wife in the store without help. I used to enjoy shopping here... until they sold me a defective swimsuit. I thought I bought a normal swimsuit. but as soon as the swimsuit hit the water it was completely see though. Since I didn't want a completely SEE THOUGH swim suit I went back to the store. All I wanted what an exchange, not a refund. But they have a no exchange policy. I would completely understand that policy if the swimsuit wasn't defective. I was denied a refund by the store manager. Because "they haven't had this issue in the past". Just because it didn't happen in the past doesn't mean it didn't happen. I would not recommend shopping here, especially for swimsuits. read more

The 4 stars here is for excellent customer service. I went in looking for kites. Bought 2 , one for $5 and another for $7. Thinking the $7 kite would work better, well I was wrong. It was just a mess with 2 lines of string and would not stay in the air. I was pretty bummed out, and the $5 kite was up there mocking me. I called to ask if they would do an exchange and after a moment I was informed that YES, I would be able to bring the kite back. Even though my kite was used and a mess, they allowed me to exchange it. I grabbed another one of the $5 kites, and was then informed I had $2 more to spend! Ended up grabbing a couple of their shark tooth necklaces, one of which I'm happily wearing now. A+ to you Padre Islander for making a girls day at the beach!! :) read more

Very nice shop- our favorite of all the touristy trash shops in the area. They had a great selection of all kinds of shells for very affordable prices. Great toys and several sale items. We enjoyed the hermit crabs and would have purchased some but they are way too over priced and the cages are way too small for the price. We always enjoy this shop and leave with a bag full of items every time we are in Corpus. read more

A man claiming to be the maintenance supervisor of the store said for us to leave he didn't want our business, because he didn't like the way we were parked. It was 10:00am Sunday morning we had a small trailer and not blocking any vehicles and away from other cars, we were actually in the shared parking spots with the gas station. Lots of stuff in there looks like it was made by a 5 year old. Things that were clearly glued together were pretty obvious as you could see the dried glue stains on many items. Other items were really cute, but not worth the money at all. The people working there were gossiping the entire time I was there, about other coworker's schedules and were unhelpful to people walking into the store. (I know this, because I spent a great deal of time gathering ALL of my items that I was debating on purchasing at the front counter by the cashier and heard them blabbing loudly and doing their 'classy' gossiping. Only one person asked if I needed help, and the others continued to not do their job and were unhelpful. A cashier guy, in a miserable attempt to make a corny joke, came off as a complete and total douche bag (only he was laughing at his joke and it didn't even merit a response so I didn't say anything back *tongue bitten*. It was mean-spirited for no reason). Also, the bathroom is totally disgusting!! I definitely would not come back here and would advise you to take your money elsewhere! read more

Went on a girls getaway vacation on Corpus and stopped into this store to browse a bit. I was specifically looking for bumper stickers for my daughter and found window decals that I thought might work. I purchased two window decals for $11.98. Two minutes later my daughter text me back and said window decals will not work.....since I haven't even left the counter and paid cash I asked for a refund. The manager told me they don't issue refunds! Seriously! I quickly told her she will give me my cash back as I have three other friends in the store spending quite a bit of money on clothing. Two hours later we are back in the store to make exchanges and purchase an umbrella for the beach....I pull to the front of the store so they aren't carrying an umbrella around the building....an employee came out banging on my window telling me I can't park there. OK Fine....do you have no manners. The managers were rude and very unprofessional and could care less if they made a sale or if the customers walked out the door.
