There's ample parking and the space is easy to find. There was a hand sculpting class going on at the same time, with members and staff working on their own projects as well. Everyone was extremely friendly and I really liked the atmosphere. The class itself was challenging but I really liked having a full demonstration before doing things ourselves. The instructors were really helpful and I liked that there were several so it felt like people didn't have to wait as long for help. I had a bit of an advantage having thrown before in high school but had forgotten a lot. I felt it was pretty beginner friendly and they did a great job explaining the names of things without going too heavily into the jargon nor feeling patronizing. I felt really confident with the bowl I made and liked being able to add my own design to it at the end as well. I do think it would be nice to know about the glaze options ahead of class just in case that affects how we structure or design our pieces. Overall, I definitely think the one-time class was really fun. The memberships and 8-week courses really intrigued me so I definitely think I'll be looking into those!

I struggled as a beginner because I felt very lost without guidance from an instructor and this resulted in me only making one piece that I was somewhat happy about. When I contacted the owner about the lack of instruction she said she would send out a Google survey asking others about their experience (which she did) but when I asked for a discount on a future class or a partial refund since I was unhappy she ghosted me.
