They have a piece of paper on display with directions on how to draw "oriental eyes". My Asian family who has been involved deeply in the conference center has complained about this multiple times now, and the craft center has failed to simply apologize and get rid of this. It is disrespectful, off putting, outdated, and just awful. Get rid of this now or you'll start losing customers and supporters. It's 2025 get with the times!

Make your way over to another lovely antique piece serving hot entrees, like cream-cheese stuffed French Toast, with warm regional Door-County cherries for a topping or cheese blintzes with orange sauce. Next, are egg dishes that vary from day-to-day, and finally, there is that apple-cured bacon. This grand home offers only five or six beautiful rooms, so one is not overwhelmed with people making it a really pleasant stay. We stayed in the largest of the waterfront rooms, the Raphael, which has a king-size bed and lake view. Every room has fresh-cut flowers. Upon arriving late Friday, at around sunset, we were delighted to see wine and some delicious Wisconsin cheese and crackers waiting for us. This is offered each evening to guests. We have returned to the Angel Inn year after year and will continue to as it's an idyllic place to get away and relax in a beautiful setting, while feeling at home in a home-away-from-home, with the warmth and care of Kathy and Dave. We ALWAYS feel welcome! I don't think I can say that about any other place I've stayed. They are genuinely happy to see you return and it is most sincere. There is a boat dock in front of the B& B, so our friend's boat had easy access to pick us up for a ride. Norton's Restaurant is located right next door for cocktails and meals and there were no sound issues at all. I highly recommend the Angel Inn Bed & Breakfast in Green Lake, WI. I have played golf at some very nice courses and some very basic ones. But I have never played on…read morea golf course with full grown weeds on the putting greens. I have played Tuscumbia for 30 years and I have never seen it so run down. The putting greens were half blackened dirt, garbage overflowing in the men's bathroom, no water in the hall washers and no food in the clubhouse. And they had the balls to charge full price.

Tee box grass needs to be cut down lower because it's throws you off trying to find the right height when teeing with golf ball. 1 starts because fairways is okay but can use more work. Lastly, the putting greens....I've been playing golf for 20 years and seen some course that needs better care. But this is by far the worst course I've ever played with crappy greens. New management but these greens can not be this bad and you still charge $55 for a round. Hopefully improvements are being made but I will not return or have people I know play this course. Greens have dead grass, patchy and weed growing. If I was the owner I wouldn't be charging $55 for players but half of that price. Don't waste your time driving to this course to play in the condition it's in now. 4-5 holes have little dead grass but the rest is horrible.

Family wedding at Royal Ridges here yesterday. It was absolutely wonderful!…read more The ceremony was held outside with a picture perfect background of green fields, rock walls, and a gazebo to boot! The guests were all seated under a large tent (yes, all 420 of us!) while the bridal party and officiant were in the sun. Nate and Jenny were married steps in front of the white wooden gazebo with strewn with gorgeous wind chimes. It was a great idea because there were never any awkward silences between readers etc. Then we went inside, just a few feet behind us, to three huge rooms of dinner and dancing. The catering was quick, efficient, professional, and friendly. There were two bars back to back which was nice as well. One of the rooms was a bit quieter which I believe some guests liked as well. I of course was never in that room, because there was a huge dance floor with my name allllllll over it! The best part of this location is that guests all stay at the Comfort Suites at Royal Ridges which is just across the parking lot - so no one has to worry about anyone driving! It may have been to our detriment as I lost count of my glasses of wine and the walk back is a bit blurry, but that's just me being irresponsible and 25! I'll grow out of it someday! All in all, a great location for ceremony, reception, and out of town accommodations!

Cute little gazebo for outdoor weddings with a large grassy yard behind it. Beyond that were some rock formations, trees, and possibly a little creek. Perfect for lovely wedding photographs. The outdoor space near the gazebo was a good size for a small wedding (less than 100 people). Inside the hotel/banquet hall was a nice ballroom with one wall completely covered in windows to get the nice view of everything. This was quite a lovely spot for a wedding in a quiet town in the middle of Wisconsin. The only person I knew was the bride and her parents -- we didn't know anyone else here. Yet, the bar in the middle of the ballroom and the set up of the tables allowed us to get to know other people and have a great time! The bartenders were friendly and as a guest, I had no issues with any staff members or food or bathroom or anything. I'm not sure what other places in the area are available for weddings, so its hard to compare. Also, this place isn't my style (I got married in an old house in the woods) so it's kind of hard to judge for someone else. Yet, based on the town and the surrounding areas, this is one of the more high-class places for a wedding. It's good if you want a small upscale wedding in ballroom with a beautiful backdrop for photos.
