Let me get specific...Mr. Flynn treated my family member with respect & compassion; he LISTENED to my family member and took into account the motive and reasons for something unfortunate that happened. Normal places and lawyers seem to want to churn through their clients, but not Mr. Flynn. Once the deal was offered, we pondered it together as a family. Mr. Flynn did not push my family member either way, just offered his expert advice and allowed my family member to make his own decision without pressure. After we met with the judge, Mr. Flynn sat with us again to explain everything in GREAT detail and answer any & all questions we had. We felt informed. We felt respected. And we felt that Mr. Flynn really cared out his client. I was taken aback at the way he immersed himself in our situation. Once all was said and done, Mr Flynn sat with me and told me that, although my family member did a bad thing (off his meds), he said that he believes this person to be a truly good person who found himself in a bad situation. (Court appointed case). The firm services are border line unethical. The attorney associate representing us during the hearing did not know the case details, status, and evidence. I was surprised the attorney did not use the evidence in the court. He did not want to wait to defend his client who is already incarcerated, and officers need to bring him out to attend the hearing. Instead, he continued the hearing for another 3 weeks rather than trying to get a bond or get his client out of incarceration. When talking to him after the hearing, he was surprised with the evidence and on me: "I am not a social worker". please note I provided the evidence to the attorney trough his office and through text messages. during the 2 years, I was not able to talk to the attorney once. The office will not even give me the courtesy of replying to my communications. Not by text or email or phone.

SO on 10/5/2023 me and my ex-gf got into an argument over a dog, I stated several times I wanted to be left alone, and she came downstairs in the townhouse we were staying and assaulted me SEVERAL times, even though I told her several times to leave me alone. So, after the argument turned physical due to her actions, I called the cops, and they arrested me because she claimed I tried to "kill her", which was all a lie. Fast forward to me getting booked/process at Fairfax County ADC, after I got out, I did a google search for lawyers in my area. Guess who came up first? Louis Kleinman. I reached out to him, and things seem to be going well, until we actually went to court the first time. This f*ckin idiot had me plead no contest to an emergency protection order, he put up no fight at all. I lost my firearms temporarily, but still he was utterly useless. So several court dates go by, and we had a few continuances, and again he did not fight for me. So at this point I'm asking him what deals can be made to ensure I don't get any felony charges or jail time, and again he was acting like an old, tired dog. He DID NOT get the discovery for evidence purposes, he DID NOT call any witnesses, I had to tell my friend who was involved to come with me. Several months go by, which at this point is almost a year since the incident happened, and he still hasn't done SH*T! I got fed up, and contemplated taking the plea deal that'll knock down my felony charge to a "lesser" felony charge just to get this whole thing over with. By the grace of God, something in my spirit spoke to me, and made me ask around for another lawyer. In comes Jonathan Oates in Fairfax. I got in contact with Mr. Oates, and we got to work right away. To long story short it, Mr. Oates did more work in a few months than Mr. Kleiman did in a whole f*ckin year! And now I'm a free man after hearing a not guilty verdict!! Had Mr. Kleiman done his f*ckin job/work, he would've seen that my ex-gf was a LIAR, and the evidence that the goofy a** prosecutor had was absolute garbage. To be honest I don't even know why he took that case anyway, but hey HIS loss. So to wrap this review up, DO NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM hire Louis Kleiman as your defense attorney. He will NOT, file for any discovery in your case, he will NOT fight for you, and he surely will NOT be worth the money. Stay far away from him as humanly possible. The amount of incompetence I experienced with him was worse that the Three Stooges, and that's me putting it lightly. PLEASE PLEASE for the love of God, hire someone who's actually going to fight for you, BECAUSE LOUIS KLEIMAN WILL NOT.
