Thousand Island Dressing Bulimba is somewhat overshadowed in its reputation by its sister store at Paddington. However, don't let the hype put you off.
The merchandise at the Bulimba store is the same sort of fare as the Paddington store: unique jewellery, hair accessories and bags that aren't super-cheap but aren't ridiculously expensive, either.
Of course, it depends on what you want. My sister loves those rings made out of shell; I bought her one of these for just a few dollars. At the other end of the scale, if you want to buy homeware items (perfect for a friend's house-warming) you're looking at the more expensive end of the scale. I would, however, venture to say that homeware items elsewhere will probably be just as expensive as here, but less unique.
What is uniform about Thousand Island Dressing is that its merchandise is unique and beautiful - especially the earrings, bracelets and bangles. And I'm not even that big on accessories.
It's also true that if you're ever struggling for a gift for a female, you'll find something here. Find out her favourite colour or take notice of the accessories she wears. I guarantee you'll find the perfect gift at Thousand Island Dressing.
Side note: this store can get busy and bustling, so watch your step. You're surrounded by absorbed customers who aren't necessarily watching where they're going.
I may even be one of them. read more
