Finally we had an installation date in November which was canceled with no notice and this cancellation compromised the integrity of my small business. The most unprofessional part of this whole scenario was that I heard nothing for over three weeks when Cliff has promised to get back to me ASAP with a new installation date. I had to hire a contractor to complete the job.

I am not afraid of basic DIY projects but I know some jobs really benefit from the experience and skill of a detail-oriented professional. Ricardo is that guy. He excels at finish carpentry. He replaced three entry doors, installed a new stairway handrail and window, fixed the swing and alignment of an old entry door and a few other odd jobs. I was impressed with his thoroughness, which included painting/staining and trim work that matched well with existing woodwork. Also, Ricardo is one of the most professional vendors I've worked with lately. He arrived early and consistently each day and scheduling the estimate and work was smooth. His communication (listening) skills are much better than average.

We found John McHugh Electric on Yelp, and we couldn't be happier that we decided to work with him. We moved to an old house with a basement that had hazardous wiring and light fixtures that weren't properly connected to the switches. There were also double tapped circuits in the electrical panel. So we hired John to remove old wires and outdated light fixtures, rewire junction boxes, replace old cable with romex, and install new LED light fixtures and an additional sub panel to add more space for future use. And John did an impeccable job with Mike! Not only was he a great electrician who is extremely knowledgable and professional, he was also honest, respectful, transparent, and all in all a total pleasure to work with. Unlike some other electricians who came by for a quote and then thereafter either went MIA or tried to upsell more things to us, John was super responsive, punctual, and candid. Look forward to working with him again in the future.

TL;DR: extremely unprofessional and incompetent. Trust the negative reviews. Do not hire…read more I hired Mike to remove an old mount and install a Mantelmount MM700. He was quick to call me, send me an estimate and it made me believe he knew the mount. We scheduled the install and he showed up alone. During the install: - he installed the new mount upside down on the wall. He had to remove it and remount, leaving two extra holes on the wall that he tried to hide with the wall cover clips that come with the mount - he installed an optional swivel kit without asking, so the TV now swivels only in one direction - removing the old mount created a hole that was patched up poorly - the TV was not mounted level - the handle of the mount was not secured - I had to purchase a separate adapter for the soundbar. He said he'd come back to finish the job when the adapter would come in. Unfortunately, I did not realize the problems with the install before I sent him a payment. I then reached out to ask to patch the extra holes he created on the wall because of the mount flip and to remove the optional swivel plate he installed without asking. I asked if he could do it when he was supposed to come back to finish to install the soundbar. He agreed. The adapter for the soundbar came in and I sent him texts to schedule the install. Like other reviews pointed out, this is when the ghosting started. So I was left with a botched wall patch up, holes on the wall because an incompetent install, a TV that can swivel only in one direction and a soundbar adapter to install. I sent a chargeback for part of the payment on Venmo because of these issues and lack of response on his end. As quick as he was to ghost, he was also quick to call right after the chargeback. He lied about responding to my messages and threatened to beat me up. Do not work with this guy if you expect someone competent and reliable.
