Not only did Micah paint the exterior of my 5000 sq. ft. detached garage, he repaired some of the siding, installed facia and trim boards, and sealed everything. The building looks absolutely beautiful - stunning, really - and everyone that sees it remarks on how amazing it looks. Micah worked in both rain and high temperatures, and showed up on days that I expected him to take a break on. His price was more than fair. As a former quality inspector, I know quality work when I see it. I highly recommend Old School Painting!

What painting companies get five stars???? I never thought I would find a company that would exceed…read moreexpectations but Pacific Sky Remodeling painted the outside of my house- and their family-owned business deserved every star and I would give six if I could! They really know what they are doing, and they were able to fix several issues on our house that we had priced out with other companies. Marco gave us such a good deal and such a fair price. His workers work very hard and left a place clean afterwards. They fixed our rotting wood spots on our chimney and they patched several holes in the siding. Lots of painters would have just covered it up with fresh coat of paint and we would've been back to needing a new paint in a couple of years, but this company really takes pride and its work lasting and you can tell because they go the extra mile to your home as their own. It's taken me over a year to post this review because life has been busy but they impressed me so much that a year later. I'm still thinking about writing them this review because they were just so amazing and I should've written it a long time ago.

We highly recommend Alfonso with Prime Painting! He has done several exterior and interior projects…read morefor us, and each job has been done exceptionally well. After seeing some of Alfonso's work around the neighborhood, we hired him to paint our house, as well as the foundation, storm window frames, and railings. Alfonso and his crew are skilled, hard-working and friendly. As with most painting projects, success is found in the pre-painting preparation (scraping, sanding, patching, masking, taping, etc.) and the crew was incredibly thorough with the preparation which resulted in a smooth and well-executed painting job. Work site was kept cleaned up at the end of each work day. Because we were so happy with the results of painting the exterior of our home, we later hired Alfonso to paint our living room as well as to build & paint a door for our garden, repaint our living room, and to repair plaster & repaint our water-damaged foyer amongst other projects. It's a pleasure to watch a craftsman work with such care and talent. The next project we have, we will be turning to them for sure!

Of the 3 quotes we obtained, Daniel's was not the least expensive, nor the most expensive. Information contained in the quote, and during my discussion when Daniel came out to look at my buildings, about repair to the trim boards was THE deciding factor - we knew that Daniel would do the right things, we did not have that confidence in the other two contractors from whom we obtained quotes. Daniel and his crew were responsive to questions - including the one dumb question that I asked where I realized I was wrong after Daniel's explanation. As the work drew to a close, there were a couple of items that my wife or I found, and they were addressed on the spot. We're very happy with the final result.

When Daniel from Alux came to analyze our project he was timely and explained every detail of the process, so I had no surprises ... Daniel outlined the Estimate, the Agreement, Prep Work, Paint (process), and Final Inspection with clarity and expert knowledge. Alux provided us a detailed estimate and an extremely fair price even after I upgraded my paint choice to a more costly product. From start to finish Alux provided great customer service. The job rolled smoothly with nearly a week of prep work (I had a lot of bubbles that needed to be scraped off) and several days of painting. I would not hesitate to call Alux for future projects as they did an excellent job. With that said, I have already referred them to a family member. No contractor has previously met my expectations, so you can imagine how appreciative I was to have the crew at Alux exceed my expectations. Alux Painting is reliable and clearly experts at their trade. Job well done. 5 stars. -JG 8/12/19

Within an hour we had a bid and because we were flexible, the work was completed within one week. We called 5 other companies for a bid, Victor was able to provide a bid that was 1/2 that of the larger, more expensive painting companies in Portland. The quality and workmanship is excellent.
