He answered my texts promptly-even on days off or late evenings. He listened carefully to determine everything that was important to me, provided all information I requested (insurance, bonding, contract info, etc.) He came to the site several times, nearly daily, to see the progress, address any questions from me or the crew. I was impressed by the way he worked with the crew, showing respect to them, he genuinely liked them. The contract: The first quote was fairly close to the one other I got, however much more was included. He addressed every question I had about the contract. One of the most impressive things was his assurance that they would be able to start painting within 1-2 days! Then they finished right on schedule after four workdays. (Friday, Monday-Wed) The crew: fabulous. The same five men came every day. They communicated with me so clearly and respectfully and really seemed to want to be sure I was happy with every aspect of the job, consulted me frequently. They worked so well with each other, very coordinated, worked consistently through the day with just a lunch break. The job: Prep: AMAZING, they power washed EVERYTHING even things that were not being painted-because they wanted to be sure it looked perfect when done. They cleaned the gutters (my request) They protected the plantings, did the most amazing job with taping around the doorways, etc. Painting: this old property was apparently more dry than it looked and kept sucking up the paint. They had to get quite a bit more paint than expected...but they did without charging additional. They wanted to be sure it would be well protected against the weather and would not settle for less than the professional best. Then they did a super job cleaning up afterward. The result: everything looks great-such an improvement (It didn't look bad before, just a bit faded) I'm getting lots of compliments. I could not be more pleased with the work done by J3.

For example, we have a very active Malinois mix who frequently bounces off the screen door to be let in, scratching the existing Plexiglass. After considering heavy duty screening to prevent damage to the Plexiglass (vetoed because it would obstruct the view out), Roger came up with covering the existing Plexiglass with another sheet so it could be more easily replaced when we decide to sell the house. He replaced the door hinges, refinished all of the scratched wood & the screen door looks & works wonderfully. Roger is a bit OCD about the quality of his work & I'm very thankful that he is. My husband & I were both amazed at what Roger charged for the quality & amount of work he did. We will definitely be calling him when we need more work done!
