Rob Tol Construction just completed a full remodel of our master bedroom, bathroom, and closet…read more From the start, working with Rob was a great experience. His bid was competitive, and he was able to offer suggestions and ideas that we hadn't thought of or didn't know were feasible. The initial timeline was several months out, but Rob remained in contact and was able to move us up on the calendar. The project was completed at the quoted price, plus a couple of scope additions we requested. Work took a little longer than expected, likely due to modifications needed to bring our aging home up to standard, and the perfection of our tile work; Rob does things the right way, and uses great subcontractors. The end result is beautiful. The bathroom remodel was completed so perfectly that we now see flaws in our guest bathroom which was remodeled 3 years ago by a different contractor. Our master suite has transformed from the worst part of our home to our personal sanctuary. I would not hesitate to hire Rob Tol Construction again. In fact, we're already planning to when we're ready to start our next project. As a side note, but important to us, Rob and all of his subs were great with our dogs. so we never had to lock them away during the project.

I have been through several remodels with previous houses and I can confidently say Rob is a great…read morecontractor. I picked Rob because of his positive reviews. It took a little time to get on his calendar, but it was worth the wait. My remodel involved redesigning three bathrooms and the kitchen. All were taken down to the studs, so there was lots of demolition. Rob sequenced the work so I was never without a functioning bathroom. Everything adjacent to the work areas was wrapped and the floors protected. Rob and his helper were meticulous about checking all the new fittings for leaks and repaired damage from a pre-existing leak from an upstairs bathroom. Rob's original estimate was accurate and the only extras were things I asked for in the course of the job. Now that the job has been done a while I am completely satisfied.

Paneless painting company was recommended to me by Morro Bay Cabinets. They made new cabinet fronts…read moreand I wanted everything painted. So Jeremy came out and gave me a quote and I also had other quotes that were higher. I decided to go with Paneless because I liked what Jeremy had to say and he offered me many different paint colors to choose from. He had samples delivered to my door. After 11 samples, I finally decided on one. His crew Julius and Chris were excellent. They arrived on time 7 AM, and we're very courteous, polite and friendly. Anything that I found that I thought needed attention they took care of it right away. It's hard for me to give a 5 star but they deserve it.

I can't speak highly enough about Brett and his crew. We were originally referred to him by our…read moreelectrician as we needed someone to fix some sub-flooring issues. As the project went on, it evolved into a massive remodel, and he has been beyond amazing every step of the way. We aren't local to the area, so we were obviously originally concerned given our prior experience with contractors. Brett has exceeded any and all expectations we had - I wish I could bring him back to our regular house to take care of a few things! He's communicative, professional, incredibly skilled, and only works with the best-quality partners (as an aside, his preferred plumber is a miracle worker and saved the project after we made a poor choice in selecting our original plumber on our own). PLUS, he has an excellent eye for details and design concepts; he recommended some changes I wouldn't have thought to make but which have made all the difference in the final result of the project. He has such a can-do attitude and is just incredibly skilled. And honestly, he is just one of the nicest people we've ever had the pleasure of working with. I should add that when the fellow came to do the measure for the counter top install, he shared that he was so happy to see Brett's truck out front as he knew that his job would be easy because Brett always ensures everything is installed with the highest quality and accuracy - the fact a fellow tradesman would speak so highly and have such confidence in his work says it all. If you're looking for a great contractor, who is fair, skilled, and easy to work with, look no further.

The first guy came…read moreto finish up the demo, and didn't bring any plastic (they were pulling out plaster) - so I had to provide plastic to him or my entire house would have been covered in plaster dust. Then they dropped off the drywall when they weren't supposed to and left it outside (with rain in the forecast) so they had to come back and move it in the house. The guys that hung the drywall didn't shim the drywall so the walls aren't flat, which caused problems for my countertop gusy. And when I called to complain, they told me that it was my houses fault that they couldn't hang drywall properly. And they are expensive. It would have cost me less to have my electrician hang the drywall and would have been done better.... :-O
