We try to get her car washed every other week. I currently take my truck whom has 10x's the amount of mud and debri on it from work to Crew car wash with ZERO gripes on my way to work because it's convenient and on the way. She however doesn't travel nearby any of them. To be told you barely make it because your car is almost "too" dirty. You get paid to PRE-CLEAN a car prior to it entering your auto wash. We don't go out of our way to go mudding, it's a family SUB for peat sake not an off-road truck or keep. I think we may take our business elsewhere from now on.

It's pretty well established that one of the things that helps when dealing with the used car world…read moreis a connection. In this case, I had a friend who knew I was looking for a car and knew that I had a fairly unique situation because I'm a driver who also uses a wheelchair. I do not drive a van. I typically drive a 2-door automatic with hand controls. The catch here is that I have to make sure that there's enough space between the driver's seat and the door frame to make sure I can slide my wheelchair into the backseat. It's harder to find than you might expect. Sports cars typically are too small. Luxury cars tend to have extra amenities that take up more space. When I was younger, it was easy to find such a car. These days, it's much harder. My friend made arrangements so that she could drive me to Shelbyville to try out three cars that I identified as possibilities I wanted to try. Basically, I wanted to try to get my wheelchair into the back seat. My friend knew the general manager here, and I have no doubt that helped. He was super friendly and very attentive. When we arrived, he had the three cars ready for me to look at and a fourth one he thought might work. One car that I wanted to try ended up not being ready. I tried an Audi 5 (didn't work), a Ford Mustang (didn't work), and one other car where the type is currently escaping me. It didn't work. For fun, I looked at a 2008 VW Beetle (that didn't work). We did try a Honda Civic that did work - but it had way too many miles on it. This is definitely a smaller lot, especially for being a Hubler lot. I'd never actually dealt with Hubler before, but I was impressed with this visit. I'd been checking their lot for a possible return visit, but I did end up finding what I wanted elsewhere. Overall, however, I appreciated that they seemed to have an understanding of what I was trying to do and went out of the way to let me try cars. That's rare in a world where most car places either don't quite get disability or are ready to pounce and exploit. While I've purchased a car (still waiting on it to arrive), I'd easily return here in the future.

Avoid Hubeler Chevrolet in Shelbyville at All Costs…read more I strongly advise anyone considering Hubeler Chevrolet in Shelbyville, Indiana, to think twice before doing business with them. I purchased a car from this dealership that was listed with multiple problems in the Carfax and vehicle information--issues they failed to disclose properly. Despite paying $4,000 for this car, its true value was only about $500. They promised to facilitate a trade to rectify the situation but completely disappeared, never contacting me again. This was not only unprofessional but outright deceptive, leaving me ripped off and frustrated. If you value honesty, transparency, and fair business practices, steer clear of Hubeler Chevrolet. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

In no way would I recommend using REINDEER to transport your car. You will spend more money and…read moretime on repairs and their horrible customer service than even the cost to ship. Be prepared to double your expenses. My poor experience with REINDEER started with the delivery of my car. At drop off the driver parked far away from my house. When I met up with him, he asked me to get in the car and proceeded to drive the wrong way down a one way road, drove 60mph in a 20mph zone, nearly flipped my car on the turns, and parked in front of the only gate to the neighborhood and refused to move not allowing others into their complex. He was very aggressive and obviously treated my car horribly and did not allow time to properly inspect the car. This was reported and the response I got from REINDEER was just "Thanks for letting me know". 4 months later my brand-new car with only 20k miles on it was taken to the shop where repairs totaled a couple thousand dollars. During this time the car dealership said without a doubt this was due to shipping as the car was inspected prior to transport. REINDEER was unresponsive and a claim was filed and denied with the only causation being that they knew they could get away with not reimbursing due to the time for the problem to become prominent. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with no remorse or apology. They are 100% bottom of the barrel for car transport service. Do not use them and if your company is using them, beg them to use someone else.
