After retrieving the car and bumper I got home and found that they had ripped the bumper off and broke 2 of the main grommets where it would hold the bumper on.So I bought another bumper. I went to ask them about the screws and the missing piece,I was told they don't know anything about it and the guy I was talking to was VERY RUDE!!!! Greer Auto Service has totally given new life to my beloved VW Jetta. she is a 2000, V-6 that has…read moreperformed well over the years, minus a few issues thanks to the owner (oops). However, over the past few months I had begun to experience difficulty with the A/C system...would occasionally work though more often not. I was worried about the cost of diagnostic procedures, and once the problem was located, about the cost of repairs. After taking the car to another shop, the freon pressure was deemed appropriate but their options/ideas were stifled at that point. They did suggest taking the car down to Greer's for further evaluation; thus, we were off... The guys at Greer's were able to rule out the expensive fixes (much to my delight) and narrowed the problem down to 2 separate components, each dealing with the electrical system. We opted to go with the least expensive option first, they ordered the part, it showed up on time and had my car fixed in less than an hour. Best part: I HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AGAIN!!!!! And yes, that last statement is extremely important as I will be driving back to Austin Texas in the upcoming months in the evil heat. I am now able to ride in comfortable style :-) Best of all, total cost was $109.05 for both part and labor. Not bad considering past repair bills for the VW. Ouch. So thank you, Greer's Auto Service, for allowing more happy time with my car and for not taking all the money i had (which wasn't much, but happy to have some left over, hehe)! Other notes: the shop was clean, inviting, personnel were extremely helpful, answering all questions I had and even pointing out things on the engine to further demonstrate what they were talking about. As a female, and having dealt with many shops in the past, they treated me with the utmost respect and I would happily return, though hope to not need their services again...if you know what I mean. Thank you Greer's for fixing my favorite car...

NOW as far as the do it yourself stalls? This place is heaven. 5 STARS. Warm water? Almost HOT water? Do they store it on the roof to get warmed by the sunlight? Who knows. I drive an expensive well maintained car and I want to take care of it. The warm water and soap used to clean the car is a bonus. The timers on the pressure washer are the longest I've seen, and I'm coming from Florida. I was in town for an auto event and wanted to make my ride look good. I brought my own cleaning buckets and wash towels, rinsed the car off, filled my bucket with my soap and their hot water from the pressure washer, and had to wait forever for the time to run out. You definitely get your money's worth in time the washer is on. I washed my car by hand, not one person came up and bothered me about my own stuff. Then I dropped money in again and rinsed the whole thing down. Superb. ALSO: The vacuum area is covered. I mean it's UNDER a roof. No rain, no hot sun! I've never seen this. This place has got it going on, and will get my business again this year when I'm back for the same auto event. NOTE: I can't speak for the staff, I didn't interact with them. And NO ONE should use an auto car wash on their whip if they care about the looks of the paint. That's like washing your car with a rag full of sand. Pay someone to wash your stuff, or get the exercise and do it yourself. THIS PLACE IS GREAT for do-it-yourself washing.
