For that reason and reason alone I've made a pit stop at this location a few times either To gas up, use the restroom facilities or grab a quick drink before entering the casino. Always pretty crowded I'm assuming for the same reasons I listed above. Service is just average. Nothing bad but nothing that sticks out above the rest either. The gas prices are about on par for the area. No major complainants there. Cleanliness is hit or miss. But you expect that with gas station facilities.

Store is conveniently located on Veterans Parkway near the I-65 interchange in Clarksville and Jeffersonville. Pickup area is alongside the Sam's Club building and has more than a dozen slots. Staff bring the selected items out to the car and load it up and we're usually on our way within minutes, oftentimes 15 minutes or less.

The employees are always kind, patient, and accommodating. We work on skills that could translate into future employment--things like scanning barcodes, navigating checkout, making purchases, and communicating with others. The checkout setup at Sam's gives my clients a great opportunity to practice, and the employees have never made us feel rushed. If anyone is huffing and puffing impatiently, it's usually another customer. Thankfully, even that is pretty rare. The samples are another unexpected win! They give my clients a natural opportunity to practice communication skills, and the employees handing them out have always been incredibly patient and friendly. Even when the store is busy and chaotic, no one seems bothered by us taking an extra minute. And can we talk about how CLEAN this store is? Exceptionally clean. Products are stocked, clothes are actually folded, food is where food belongs--it's amazing. Even the Sam's Café, which happens to be a favorite of one of my clients, is consistently clean. The food is fresh, the employees are kind, and we've always had a positive experience. It may just feel like a regular shopping trip to everyone else, but for the people I work with, these outings are opportunities to build independence, communication, and skills they can use in everyday life.
