For that reason and reason alone I've made a pit stop at this location a few times either To gas up, use the restroom facilities or grab a quick drink before entering the casino. Always pretty crowded I'm assuming for the same reasons I listed above. Service is just average. Nothing bad but nothing that sticks out above the rest either. The gas prices are about on par for the area. No major complainants there. Cleanliness is hit or miss. But you expect that with gas station facilities.

Wawa is one of those near-mythical places that has a huge reputation, but I've never lived near one. Located at the corner of Taylorsville Road and Sweeney Lane, Wawa is easy to find. Just look for the brightly lit building with the white canopy and 14, yes, FOURTEEN gas pumps. Since I'd heard that Wawa is known for its coffee, that was the main reason for my visit. What I wasn't expecting was just how much there really is inside. It's one of those "How did they fit all that in this space?" kind of places. One entire wall is dedicated to beverages. Not the canned-and-bottled kind, because that's a different wall. This one is devoted to self-serve coffee, iced coffee, soft drinks, and ICEE®. You can also order what my wife calls "fancy coffee." You know: espresso, lattes, and assorted beverages with significantly more syllables than "coffee." And Wawa certainly isn't limited to drinks. There are plenty of made-to-order foods available, including breakfast sandwiches, lunch and dinner items, and snacks. I noticed a breakfast burrito that is, 100%, on my radar for my next visit. The ordering process goes something like this: Go to one of the ordering kiosks and choose what you want. You can customize your order like nobody's business. Seriously. Who knew there were so many options? You'll get a printed ticket with an order number. Take that ticket to the cashier, where it gets scanned and you pay. Then head back toward the in-store beverage/food counter and wait for that order number, which I just told you to remember, to be called. Happiness ensues. The "other" beverage wall is an entire refrigerated section filled with cans and bottles of soft drinks, juices, energy drinks, and water. If you can't find what you're looking for, do you really need it? There are also several aisles of snacks, along with coolers stocked with Grab & Go foods. Every employee I interacted with was genuinely friendly, and the store was immaculately clean. Granted, it's brand new, so...yeah. But still, everything was well stocked, organized, and running smoothly. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I walked into Wawa. Now that I've visited, I think it's earned a spot in my morning coffee rotation. It's close to home, the service is fast, and I really like the variety of options. Oh...and by the way, they're open 24 hours... And that breakfast burrito and I have unfinished business.

This station has become very hard to get to because of major construction on Interstate I64 and the road work on the overpass. There is also ongoing construction on Mt Eden Road that makes both entrance and exit from this station difficult. The only thing that is under control of Circle K is the cleanliness the station. I'm not sure if this has suffered because the number of employees has been decreased due to slow business or if it is not a priority but it still counts in my book. I have found other stations that are more convenient, lower priced, easier to get in and out of to give my business to. This review only warns that if you get off the Interstate to use this station you may be disappointed.

Get over it…read more With the recent buyout of Thornton's, the overall blahness of Speedway, and the who-knows-what-you'll-get visiting a Circle K, the local Mapco's really standout above the other convenience stores. From my experience, all the Mapco Louisville stores are clean, well-organized, and well-staffed. The gas pumps are easy to navigate with plenty of room between rows. They offer a 90-Octane mid-grade unleaded with no ethanol which is a plus for those of us who believe adding ethanol to gasoline is just a bit stupid when fuel supplies are fine and refining corn to ethanol is just costly. Also, the Chester's Chicken & More located in each Mapco serves the best chicken tenders in town. Granted, best to get them fresh so you need to come by during the lunch or dinner hours and the cook station is not always open, but really, they put the Zaxby's located beside the station to shame. The tenders are huge, juicy and paired with some of their dipping sauces, just plain good. I've also had a couple of their hot dogs from this location, too, which are some of the best dogs around. Served in a few different ways, from Chicago-style, to Memphis-style, or as a chili dog, they air fry the hot dog so it's not off a roller and it has the crispness on the skin as if they were grilled. They're huge, too, so one will usually more than satisfy. My one minus is the fountain machine, it's one of those Coca-Cola touchscreen models, and I hate those damn things.

When you first walk in there is a large chair to get your picture taken in. This part is called Capstone and located at the far end from the gas and go store. The manager informed me that gas pumps nine and ten sales help support the Catholic School on Feganbush lane. They are still working to bring in food companies to fill up the middle spaces but nothing is final yet. The service is on point and find myself coming here often. They now have hot food in the stop and go side. Business has picked up and no doubt this will become a fixture once it is fully up and running.

The batteries are on a wall behind the counter. The staff seem nice, prices are gas station prices, and they have a small selection of hot foods to grab and go. The location is great but it is a little wonky to leave and go West because of how the roads are.
