I was surprised to see that Kentucky has Meijer, as I thought it was only in the Midwest. I stopped in the station to use the restroom, which was clean. I also bought an (Icee? Slurpee? Meijer brand Slurpee) which was cheap, I think it was $1.39 for a 20 or 30 ounce drink. Check out was fast, the cashier was polite, and the drink was nice and cold and gave us a refresh on the last hour or so to Tennessee.

I don't really focus on gas prices, but they seem to be the same as the area. The employees are always so friendly. There is a plethora of snacks and drinks inside as well. It's sort of like a mini meijer honestly. Also, this gas station is never too crowded! It's easy to get in and out.

The good part is that the place is very clean, and the breakfast they serve is pretty tasty (those…read moreare good biscuits!) The bad part is that service is awful, and the employees act like you're a bother and that it's a burden and pain to provide you with basic customer service. They acted like I was a weirdo simply for wanting a receipt with my purchase. They said nobody wants a receipt anymore, so they couldn't understand why I was asking for them. Not wanting to give receipts with a purchase sounds really, really shady. When I wanted some breakfast, they had a number of employees hanging around but nobody could (or would) stop what they were doing to help for some time, and even after I made my order they acted like asking for a biscuit, some gravy, one sausage patty, and a hash brown was some weird order that they felt the need to comment on it being strange or unusual because I just asked for one biscuit instead of two. It's overall a curious gas station. It's got the usual gas station & convenience store stuff. . .and it's got a huge display of air freshener spray cans with Arabic writing on them, an entire wing of the place devoted to vape stuff, and a curious amount of Pokemon merchandise. It's a curious choice for a convenience store in Frankfort, KY that mostly serves civil servants and folks who are passing through on their way to Bourbon distillery tours, but that's what the place is.
