For years we used Superior Lawn Sprinkling and loved working with Ty. We thought this company had…read moreintegrity and honesty, we were wrong. This last season they missed winterizing our sprinklers (we were on the schedule in October and were simply missed.) Our pipes burst and the water flooded our basement, ruining Christmas presents. They told us what to do, but when we contacted in the spring, the original proposition was we pay for the part ($179) and they cover labor ($50). The part was by far more expensive than the labor. My husband got confused as to what three parts were versus one part and when they found out our confusion, they told us the assembly part was $472. I offered to do 50/50, with them paying for labor, but splitting the cost of the part. Upon further research, I learned it was ALL considered one part and that's what the $179 he was referring to was. The situation was blamed on us for not communicating that they missed it. However, the way things have been handled in the past was a bill would be sent in the mail after the service was done. This easily can be missed. For such a small loss to take as a business, it sure was stressful to have to deal with the flood, loss of presents, rewrapping presents, and then the unprofessional attitude and communication from one of the gentlemen.

They tied up each branch before they cut and lowered it to the ground before chopping it into manageable chunks. The guys on the crew are all super-nice and the price was the best of all the estimates I got. I would definitely recommend them and will hire them again when I need more tree work done.

There are many tree services that I have used in my 40 years of business as our property is surrounded by many large trees. It's hard to find the right service for the job. Also to note: They came the day after they said they would be there, they did not call I had to reach out. I gave a pass on this as there was a major storm, but not very professional to not call. I had to call the office 6 times before they answered this morning. Charged for clean up, however there are still 3 large pieces of tree in my yard. They're was some type of manager (Lansing lesson) there because their Lansing crews had been "caught doing stuff they shouldn't" Do not use this company Edit / Follow up: After reaching out and waiting they did send me an invoice for just over 8500 for the same job, never did receive an invoice for the 13 thousand that they sent to my insurance company. This still seems excessive to me and I did reach out and they were unwilling to lower it any more. They charge for a full 8 hour day no matter how long they are actually on the job, which they state is standard practice, however none of the other three tree companies I called do this. I never received a response to my email questioning this, however, Rebecca was able to email me within minutes when I asked where to send the check. The contact that they make you sign leaves absolutely no protection for you the customer, they can do what ever they want and there is no recourse, including not honoring any estimate given. If you don't pay within 30 days they will charge you interest. This is a predatory company and they are very good at seeming like they are their to help until you get the invoice, then they will not help at all.
