Each time, we hope the…read moreexperience will be different because going to Olympia is both far away and typically more expensive. Every time, every season we are challenged with not just bad customer service, it's absolutely horrible. This time, the straw that broke the camel's back and reason for me finally getting frustrated enough to post a review, we were shopping for soccer gear. I had to go to the front counter and ask three times for help because the pricing of items was very misleading. This seems to be a theme frankly, we had a similar issue during baseball and football too. They have a sale price listed and countless items stocked on that shelf but tell you at the counter that it is full priced. Total bait and switch and it's just plain wrong. When I expressed my concern about to the manager, Yolanda, she jumped into berating us (kids and all) to "inform" that it isn't their job to make sure they are stocked right or that the pricing is correct (really?? Isn't that EXACTLY what your job is?) We are the ones that need to be more educated in her eyes. You can't make this stuff up. This is also very hard to do when there were no prices on many of the items we were looking at other than the sale sign. This was the reason we asked for assistance in the first place while in the aisle so many times to try and understand the utter insanity of their stocking setup. When we did get "help" 20 mins later an employee named Heather also yelled at my kids and I stating she had been there the whole time and that we need not have waited; we tried in a dozen shoes and no one was present. It's a very small area, we'd have noticed her ;) Anyway, moral of the story is that we will no longer be returning. Don't care if it costs more, we'll go to Oly. If anyone of consequence in management or leadership reads this please note this, we have heard the same thing from other team parents that share the same experience. Something there just isn't right and it has to be a company or local store culture thing to be this far reaching and long lasting. Consumers are getting smarter and not willing to put up with poor service, bait and switch, and plain mean people. Do something about it please!

There is a small Cafe that serves snacks, coffee and cold beverages. There is also a spot that serves beer in the facility with outdoor and indoor dining. Parking is quite abundant and the tournaments are well run. For this tournament they were running 3 games simultaneously and that makes this place loud and the field are very small, I am guessing about 130 feet to left and right field and center field being about 150 . The ball is played off the roof netting and outfield nets when in play. This is a bit goofy and I guess it adds to the indoor softball fun unique atmosphere. Field 1 viewing for spectators has bleachers in right field only and then viewing from the catwalk above the first and third baselines. Right field you can use the bleachers and on the elevated catwalk bring your own chairs or standing room. This field has a bit of padding under the turf. Field 2 only has viewing from the elevated catwalk on the first baseline only. You will need to bring a chair or stand. I did see a couple people with chairs in a very limited space just behind the center field net. This field also has some padding on the field. Field 3 only has bleacher seating in left field only. There also is a very limited place for chairs also in left field. This field really does not have any padding and it is green turf/carpet on a basketball court. All fields have temporary home plate and sliding into home plate means most players slide under the home plate/turf piece and the pitchers ares usually gets adjusted every couple of innings. I would definitely say that if the girls were 12 or younger this place would be okay but for the girls that are over that age the fields are a bit small but playing off the nets adds a new dimension/challenge to the game. The facility also had some pickleball courts in the back and I saw flyers for a virtual sports. It is a facility that is good for Winter tournaments since weather is not really a factor. These are the things that I would have known.

First, there is not enough parking for all the attendees. Secondly, they don't allow outside food or drink which leaves you to stand in super long lines for overpriced crappy food. Last, it is very very loud inside and the seating is limited so you are crowded onto uncomfortable bleachers sitting freakishly close to other people all day long. Courts are nice and it's easy on and off freeway. Book your tournaments anywhere else but here.

The course was in terrible shape (besides the greens) with patches of dirt (that turned to mud on our day of golf) and the tee boxes were small and on uneven ground. And the prices? Crazy high for the quality of the course. Range balls (a small bucket) was over $8. And some of the balls had definitely seen better days. My home course is Capitol City GC in Olympia. Better course. Better deal. See you there!

I was not impressed with this course. Our group played the South and West courses. The course is fairly flat with some elevated tees to get back to the clubhouse, but there are some holes that were a bit confusing. Several holes had severe 90 degree doglegs, you couldn't even tell where the pin was after your 2nd shot. However, the real problem is the drainage on the course. During 80-85 degree weather in the afternoon, you would think the course would be dry for optimal conditions, but there were patches of deep puddles and water logged areas around the greens where you would need to relieve your ball on to drier areas. And don't get me started on greens. They were absolutely diabolical. The Par 3 on Hole 8 was stupidly placed. Whoever was the groundskeeper must have had a terrible morning. If you missed the putt even 2 feet long, the ball would completely roll of the green. Several pin placements were placed on top of mound like that. I did like how fast the greens rolled though. As for pricing, I'm not sure if I'd pay $45 for this course on a weekend. However, I loved the prices on beverages and food in the clubhouse. Hot dogs were $1, Gatorades were $2 and beers were very affordable at ~$7. Definitely no price gouging here. The staff in the clubhouse was very friendly. The gentlemen in the morning early afternoon is a chatty fellow and was very inviting. He looked like he really enjoyed working there. I would play this again if all my friends want to, but if I wanted to play it individually, I might reconsider.
