Booking with this hotel DIRECTLY from USA was challenging…read more Was able to get room for $250 a night with radisson membership. Check in was easy, but there may be a line. Room was cozy and bedding comfortable. Walls are thin and was fortunate there were few other guests. Some one else may have better luck than I did in how to operate TV. Free Wifi was available. Hotel restaurant was pricey. Fish & chips was $30 with 10% discount for reward members. Dish included breaded cod, small green lettuce with peas and less than crispy potatoe fries. Served less than 5 minutes after ordering. It was A-OK. As stated often, the hotel is directly across the street from airport, like a 2 or 3 minute easy walk. Very convenient for early flights. Would book again.

One reaches the hotel by exiting the arrivals level near baggage claim 21, crossing the street, and walking down a short covered walkway. If you are arriving by train, the hotel is connected to the train station on the opposite side via a short driveway. Our adjoining rooms on the second floor overlooked the main terminal. I couldn't do any plane spotting from here, though. But just as lovely, I couldn't hear any aircraft either. The room was modern and comfortable. I would have liked a heated bathroom floor, though, like every other Norwegian hotel we stayed at on this trip. The included breakfast was excellent. I had the best scrambled eggs here at this buffet on our trip. We took the train down to Oslo for dinner and last-minute shopping. Since we had no luggage, we tried the regional train instead of the express for half the cost. It's well worth it and takes only slightly longer. When exiting the train at the airport station, walk in the opposite direction from everyone else for the quickest way back to the hotel.

This is probably my favorite hotel near the Oslo airport. If you are going to splurge on a good…read morehotel, this is the place to do it. It is within walking distance of the airport and is perfect for any kind of traveling. The staff is very accommodating and will happily meet any needs that you may have. I requested additional pillows and towels for my stay, and they were in the room upon arrival. My room was impeccably clean. The bed, linens and towels were all of nice quality. The mattress felt like a cloud and was exactly what I like to sleep on. In addition, there is a restaurant downstairs. They serve a variety of foods and even have daily specials. I ordered the scallop appetizer and salmon dinner. The presentation on both were tasteful and the scallops were delicious. However, the salmon was extremely salty. I'm not sure if this is the usual way they prepare it but I could not eat much of it. All in all, I'd happily return in my future visits.

The food tasted decent, but it was extremely expensive for what you got- meat, some potatoes heavily bathed in butter and cream, and some kind of ball of arugula with an Italian dressing. The chicken was incredibly over salted, my wife couldn't finish the whole thing so I tried a bite to confirm that. At that point we were willing to chalk this up to a bad restaurant experience which happens, but the next morning she started vomiting uncontrollably, and I came down with bad stomach pain and intestinal distress. This almost made us miss our flight to Tromsø for the rest of our honeymoon, and we nearly had to visit a hospital as she was unable to keep down fluids to stay hydrated. Not the way we wanted to start our honeymoon. Once we were at the hotel in Tromsø and not feeling deathly ill, about a day later, I called to let the hotel know about this issue and request a refund for our dinner which totaled about 1000 kroner, or over $100. The staff member at the desk took my email and said a "service manager" would contact me. From his tone it was clear to me he thought I was pulling some kind of scam. It has now been three days and I have received absolutely no response from the management. I will be filing a chargeback with Visa for this if the matter is not resolved. The room was clean, but the bathroom had drainage issues from the shower being on the same level as everything else. There was a little useless green shield that you could kinda swing around to avoid spraying the toilet but overall it did nothing to stop the water going all over the floor, you have to waste a towel to not have your feet soaking wet on the cold hardwood floor. The staff were friendly and nice, and I really enjoyed being able to airplay to the TV, but the fact that food safety is obviously not a priority here would caution me to recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Upon entry to my room, I noticed it was very small. Me, with two pieces of luggage, one being very large... I felt cramped. The bathroom was nice, until I took a shower. The showers are stand up ones. There is no threshold for the shower doors. Yes, doors with an "s". It was a stall shower, that both door opened outwards. The water definitely finds its way out onto the bathroom floor. And when I say finds its way out, ohhh i mean it. I walked out of the shower into a pool of water. It definitely alarmed me. I had to soak up most of it with towels, and leave the rest for the heated bathroom floor to dry up. Definitely not my idea of a good time. I see in other reviews, and have heard from others who stayed here that they hated the beds. I actually liked it. I liked that it had two comforters. I had 4 pillows, 2 firm, 2 soft. The tv. Thank God! It was huge. Maybe like a 50 inch? Well, it was a super smart tv. I was able to connect to netflix for the duration of my stay. There is an iron, a tea kettle, and a closet with hangers. They could have more items with the kettle. The food here is amazing. As you see in my posted picture, I had a salmon burger. It was quite delicious. In the mornings, an abundant breakfast. TONS of choices. And the food was devine. There is nothing around this hotel, but more hotels, a gas station, and a McDonald's.

To get to the city take the bus to the hotel and take the train to the city center the cost is about 20$. There are also food options at the airport. Oslo is a beautiful city. I read others say the shower leaks it will if you have the pressure high. So turn down the pressure. The beds are two twin beds put together like a king bed very comfortable the bed is not separated so it's very cuddle friendly. I also find a lot of European countries Don't have proper air conditioning because they don't experience very hot weather so they don't need it. Oslo is an expensive place however I think it's equivalent to eating out in a fine dining restaurant.
