Beautiful artistic interiors.
This hotel will be your favorite if you appreciate art.
Check-in was quick, after all we had a reservation. Very cosy room. But not much of a view from my room. As the name says, my room faces the runway. That said, I don't have a noise problem.
Well insulated room with two layers of windows. Not just double glazed. 2 double glazed windows, with an air cavity in between. I don't know what the temperatures are like in winter in Norway. But these windows make me think that it must get really cold. But this could also be a way to reduce noise from the airport runway.
One thing that I didn't quite like though is the lighting. The lighting is best for sleeping; if you intend to do some work like researching places to visit on the consecutive day then you might find it hard to focus as the lighting in the room might put you to sleep.
Another thing I have to mention is that I booked this place because they mentioned frequent shuttles every 10-15 minutes from the hotel to the airport. But this is only partly true. First of all the shuttles aren't a service of the hotel, you have to pay for the shuttle service both to and from the hotel. If your flight is in the morning the shuttle service is every 30 minutes not as frequent as they advertised in their website. But on the other hand they do have breakfast from 4am. That is something we are really grateful for. read more
