The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. First time I rented was in 2012 where we stayed at the W Style Beach House in Huntington Beach for my boyfriend's birthday bash. It was prime location and right next to the beach/main street. Sleeps around 6-8 people so it's definitely great for large groups. There is just so much to do from talking a stroll to the beach to bar hopping at the local bars. Another plus was the Starbucks just literally down the street! Second time around I rented the Royal Beach House, which was in September 2014 for my boyfriend's birthday again. It was an amazing 3-story house with tons of space. This time around it was a bit further from main street, but we were willing to sacrifice that for a larger place. We were blown away yet again the second time around. Will definitely be using Skaii Home's service as a yearly tradition. Be sure to check them out for your next beach house rental! You won't be disappointed.

They work mostly Monday to Friday but they kindly made an exception for us to clean on a Saturday which we were very thankful for. On the day of cleaning they were on time and went to work right away. They were extremely thorough and very detailed. They got all the baseboards, door frames, doors in addition to all the normal parts. They used light colored microfiber cleaning clothes and made sure that every single piece of dust is removed from the unit. The whole place was spotless after they were done. Highly recommended!

The floor was filthy first off! While unloading our ice chest into the refrigerator (which by the way, was not cleaned out from the previous renters. We had to clean it first) I dropped some ice on the floor. I got a paper towel to wipe up and couldn't believe how dirty the floor was. We then walk through the house to find our bedrooms. First off, we see the filthy stained towels that were on display in the bathrooms. Not like what you see on their website. Because of how the house smelled and the condition of the towels, everyone checked out the beds. The sheets and mattress were stained and some of the beds had balls of hair from the dryer on them. Since we didn't know if the sheets were stained and not dirty, we thought it best to wash all the sheets and towels before we enjoyed the heated pool (a lot of the stains and dirt came out after the wash but all were stained) after our long 9 hour drive. Well surprise, surprise! The pool that we paid in advance to heat and even after an e-mail to Johathan the day before our arrival to confirm the pool will be heated, it's not heated. It's Sunday around 4:30 p.m. and my son decides to turn on the TV for the kids while we try to get this place clean. Surprise, surprise again. The TV does not work (direct TV is out). No internet! We call the number and reach Troy. We tell him about all of this and explain that we want a cleaning crew out the next day to clean this place. He apologizes and says he will credit $100 for the cleaning we did. He says he will have someone out tonight to fix the TV and internet. NO SHOW!! The next day Troy calls while we are in Disneyland and says the house is clean and the pool is heated but that Direct TV cannot come until Tuesday to restore service. Late afternoon we head back to the house to swim. Surprise, Surprise!! The pool is STILL not heated. Another call and the pool guy shows up about 45 minutes later to heat the pool. So....my grandkids could not swim as promised on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday morning. The pool is finally heated late Tuesday. We had no TV at all, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday morning, until Tuesday afternoon. Such a let down. Behind the couch in the living room was garbage left behind by previous renters and well as a dirty blanket throw for the kids. The pool area was dirty, an old dirty sock along the side as well as garbage. Only 2 of the burners worked on the BBQ. Wallpaper has been torn off the wall from previous renters and not repaired. I would like to know if the owners of the property are aware of how poorly Vascasa is managing their property. Would the owners like their kids to be without a promised pool for 2 and a half days? Would the owners kids like to be without TV for 2 and a half days? The front door deadbolt does not have a strike plate, leaving the house unsecure. I found now that I have been looking at other reviews from Vacasa, another renter posted about the dead bolt back in April and Ridwan replied that he would take care of it. Well that was 7 months ago.... We leave Mickey's Dirty House very early Thursday morning. Friday I fill out the e-mail Vascasa sends asking how the stay went. It took the Guest Satisfaction Manager, Ridwan, over 2 days to respond. He offers us a $150 refund. We paid Vascasa $100 heat the pool for our stay. We also paid for TV and ESPN which we did not have the first 2 and a half days, plus our first day cleaning and washing. $150?? It cost $475 a night for the house. I responded to Ridwan right away to let him know $150 was not fair and that a refund of one night was in our mind, more than fair. NO RESPONSE! We left the house cleaner than when we arrived. They have not refunded our cleaning deposit. Bottom line, Stay in a hotel!

It is very clean and the decorations are really cute, although I must say the Small World dolls in the living room are a little creepy at night :). The pool and Jacuzzi and amazing after a long day at Disneyland. The staff is fairly easy to work with, but it is clearly a large operation (I think they own 14 properties) so there's not a really "personal" feel to the process. We even received incorrect information about our property during this time. Also after we booked I realized that they overcharged us by $25 per night according to the rates advertised on their website. Which brings us to their website. They advertise a game room, but notice there's no pictures of one. This is actually just a finished garage with a foosball table in it. Not a big deal, just worth noting. The sofa is not a pull out couch and there is no store of games waiting for you in the ottoman. There is no desk with a computer, but there is a printer available. Everything else seems to be accurate. All-in-all it was a nice stay, but would probably try someplace else next time.
