All of the stuff that was written in the contract was NOT performed, nor was the work that his original assistant Darla, followed. His new assistant has completely changed the game as far as his original work ethic was concerned, and for this i will never be recommending his firm again! Way to lose a huge fan Gregg!

Our case had to do with obtaining managing conservatorship over our grandchildren after a tragic car accident killed our daughter. We tried to handle the legal filings ourselves through the court, but the judge advised us to get a lawyer to better handle the complexities. We searched online and selected this law firm mainly due to its dealings with the designated courthouse and reviews. Once we met with the attorney, he said all the right things that made us feel like the case would have the urgency that we felt. We signed the paperwork and sent in our retainer so we could get started right away. From that point on it was a nightmare. Specifically, the issues consisted of little to no communication unless we initiated it, egregious mistakes on paperwork, unprofessionalism and no urgency. Once we realized this, we decided it was not working and fired them. We even sent the lawyer a list of constructive criticism based on our experience to help them with future clients. He completely dismissed it and even said that was not the way he saw things. In fact, after obtaining zero results on our case this firm charged us almost the entire retainer! Yes, that's right and in hindsight it really felt like they only wanted to bill every penny they could instead of focusing on completing the case. We are grandparents just trying to do the right thing for our grandkids and feel taken advantage of. This is why we wanted to get our experience out there as a warning to those of you searching for a firm to handle your case. We made a terrible choice here and don't want you to do the same. We have retained a new firm and could not be happier as the experience has been a night and day difference. I only wish we would have started there and not had to go through this nightmare and complete waste of money and time.

I was referred to this law firm last year by a counselor for a potential lawsuit against my former…read moreemployer. My first meeting I met with Teresa Bode and Nii Amaa Ollenuu. It went well. They were nice and easy to talk to. They decided to take my case and then pulled back by saying they had too many cases at the time. Which was fine. I really loved the initial contact with them so I came back in January and spoke with Teresa again who said she was pleased that I called back because another lady had similar experiences to mines with the same employer and would review my case and let me know. I received the run around for two months. I've called and got BS'd around why she couldn't talk or reasons why she was not in. I got told several times she left for the day early and I remained PATIENT AND POLITE. Today I called and, having a better relationship with the receptionist instead of the actual lawyer, I started talking to her about my experience. She tells me Theresa has notes that there are things I should be doing... that's basically her work ! I asked what they were because I have spoken to no one. I tell the receptionist that's what you're charging 34% for. All of a sudden the Teresa, who left for the day early, was available and I hear her in the background saying that the receptionist could transfer me. I get transferred and Teresa tries to tell me that I'm stressed. I informed her that I'm DEFINITELY NOT but I am frustrated because I respected her and her time and that was not done for me. I called several times and never got answers. Teresa. She NOW tells me (how convenient) that they have too much of a workload and that my case is denied. It was funny hearing this now that she's pissed because I'm telling her that it's ridiculous how long have waited. However, although I am extremely frustrated I never disrespected her. I remained true to myself and am proud of that. It's disheartening the way I was treated in this situation but life goes on. Without clients you guys would have no cases. So TREAT EVERYONE with respect because we give you jobs. I'm unsure if I can go to the BBB but I definitely will try because if there are deadlines for me to file my claim and I miss it... I just spent 2 months waiting on a phone call.

I finally had to file with the Bar. I have never wrote a review or took any type of action against someone's livelihood but this man is absolutely the most unethical, lazy, unprofessional, not knowledgeable, attorney I have ever came across. Attorney fees constantly change, very little effort or communication, in fact just plan on doing the work yourself. I could go on and on. He has lied to me about the work he was doing on my case to find out nothing was done. He then dodged my emails and repeated and repeated request for my own signed documents to be emailed to me were ignored. He's has his own personal court issues going on also. Which should definitely be a red flag. I will from this point always read reviews on anyone that I am going to spend a significant amount of money on. After talking to many people in the court system I have also learned his reputation and credibility is also shot. He's just terrible. I was so disappointed how he handled everything. Also expect 2 am text messages (very professional right?). Huge fail on our part for hiring him. He quit in the middle of our case left us high and dry. Luckily everything worked out for us without his representation but he is messing with peoples lives and it's wrong. I hope some form of disciplinary action is taken. It's cruel and unfair to mislead and cheat people just for money. Also his fees are outrageous and somehow the balance significantly goes up after payments instead of going down. Sketchy!

Please consider other options before going with this one. we…read morereached out due to a CPS report which would have gotten settled without a lawyer however due to the accusations we wanted a legal professional opinion just to be safe. First they state a free consultation in which we found is the only way that is true is if you have actually been arrested otherwise you pay so we had to pay 500.00 to the criminal lawyer whose name is Reynie Tinajero ( in which he was very friendly ) But his information we pretty much already knew because again we knew we were only there so we could be educated on our legal rights . Fast forward to the end of the consultation he suggested we consult to the CPS attorney which name is Alyce Ferguson for a 30 minute consultation will cost us 250.00 and it's not even a in person consultation it was an over the phone consultation so she states from point A to point B it will be cleared up for 1,500 because her fee is 500.00 a hour so instead of us paying as we go she says it has to be paid all at once . So again, we pay it this was all done in 1 day which was on a Monday June 2.2025 to be exact so by this point within 1 hour and 30 minutes we have offically paid 2,250 that was not expected at all. Tuesday June 3rd, we agree to meet this is where it takes a turn for the worse she is 10 minutes late she stays maybe 40 minutes and leaves as she is leaving CPS calls, and we agree to meet on Friday June 7 she states we will touch base Wednesday, we exchange text that morning and that's all Thursday morning a few more text at this point I tell her i need to actually speak with you because you were hired to give me peace of mind and you have me feeling as if I am a criminal so she states she's in court all day so that's fine just when you are available so she calls 20 minutes later and all is well Friday comes she shows up at 1:00 our meeting is 1:30 with CPS so that's great but we literally are just sitting here while she is on the phone with another client apologizing to them about something and using words like prison and so on that we do not even use in front of our children (totally unprofessional) while she's stating she has another appointment to get to so CPS comes all is well 15 minutes later during the visit she gets up and states she has to get to her next appointment so can we call her and have it on speaker so sure of course well little did we know while on speaker the phone hangs up. At this point although our meeting is going well i didn't want to make the wrong move so i call her back-to-back and get nothing but a voicemail and a text 2 minutes later saying i will touch base all is well and thats it now of course the sweet CPS lady gave us all the good news we needed but this lawyer failed us even though we knew it was going to be a closed case she made us more nervous like how things can get twisted and all the above. I usually would not leave a review like this however in this case its necessary because CPS can be serious and be scary but what if a family is less fortunate and actually don't have the money to pay or have to borrow or etc. All I'm saying is do your research first please. although each individual was very nice this just was not right, we are still out of 500.00 because she literally never spent more than a total 2 hours with us. And last but not least we did actually hear back from her saying she was in a car accident that's why the call failed smh God Bless you all and i hope this helps you if you are ever in this situation
