I specifically asked for Natalie to represent me, but at my first hearing Ken ended up to represent me.He was completely unprepared, and because of that, the outcome of that day hurt my child custody situation. On top of that, I was charged for both Natalie and Ken to attend meetings together. Even communication was frustrating. My emails were ignored for a week, and I had to send a second follow-up just to get a response. They act like they care, but there is no genuine sympathy. At one meeting, Natalie even shed tears , but it felt insincere, because at the end of the day, all she seemed to care about was money. I wouldn't have minded the cost if I had actually seen meaningful results , but that wasn't the case. In the end, I had to hire another attorney, and I am very glad I made that decision.

Apparently.. "laws changed" when nothing was done by her before the 6 month period. I will say that I had hired her with about a month to work with (5 months in to my ex moving out). Well.. I had to fire her and hire another attorney maybe a day or two after the 6 month period went by when i finally heard back from her. The only reason i think I heard from her was because of my ex's attorney telling her about texts I was sending my ex about how she can't live as far as she was trying to. Which when i did hear back.. it was about texts I was sending my ex. Not any of the texts my ex had sent me triggering the texts I sent her. Not anything to do with the fact that 6 months went by and she did nothing to drag us to court or mediation prior to the 6 month deadline. No worries right? I now drive from McKinney to Sherman and back on Thursdays.. and back there again on Fridays doing the same thing, if it's not my weekend. If it is my weekend, I drive to Sherman and back at 6 on Sundays. It will only get worse when my daughter starts school. Not to mention, she literally got $5k-$6k for this "work" while questioning me instead of my ex's attorney over how my ex and I were texting each other. So the whole time she could've been collecting things that my ex had been saying to me... she chose to listen to complaints by my ex's attorney about things I was saying to his client instead of going back to them or documenting things to use against my ex. This lady and this firm literally ruined any chance I had at true 50/50 custody. Good thing I found another law firm literally next door to my ex's law firm to get closer to 50/50 or I would be screwed even more for ANOTHER $5K. At the same time, I found out laws did not change from my new attorney and there was nothing I could do other than sue the same attorney who I hired to help me, who screwed me.. for money. Money does not get back what I loss with my child. Those rules of living in the same county still applied and she did nothing before 6 months passed (according to my new attorney). Thanks to this place dropping the ball, my ex can now live within a 100 mile radius of me (rather than the same county we raised our daughter in) which has been extremely expensive. It costs me work hours to make our meeting point. It costs me a lot in gas money and time with my daughter staring who get to stare at me from the back seat as we drive to and from our meeting point with her mom.

I called and asked to speak with Elizabeth. Her response was "She doesn't work from this office." Umm... ok? So where does she work from or how can I speak with her? Or does she not work for you at all any more. The rude lady then followed up by saying "Well, you'd have to give me your info and tell me why you're calling and I'll email her." So I gave her my contact info and told her that I was interested in a new client consultation. She then said "New client or are you just looking to sell us clients?" (Which I have no idea what selling a client means... but whatever). I told her that I thought she was being a little bit rude as I'm looking for attorney representation. Her response was "Oh whatever..." and then hung up on me. If this is the level of service recieved on first contact with them, I don't want to find out how the follow up will be. Extremely rude and unprofessional.
