Scheduling an appointment with ADAPT was a breeze with the friendly and courteous staff. My first meeting with Chris (owner) was fantastic. Chris described the product that would best serve my specific needs and explained the process for use in detail. Chris is a recognized and respected expert in his field, as evidenced by his vast knowledge as he took the time to explain the physiology of my feet and the basis for the specific medical issues I was having. He readily provided the best medical option to treat my feet. My follow up meeting with Chris for fine tuning of the orthotics was even better than the first. He knows what he is doing. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and I completely trust his assessment and recommendations without hesitation. Even though my insurance did not cover my custom orthotics, I was so pleased with the results of the first set, I had Chris make a second set for me. They hadn't made the AFOs for me, so they were under no obligation to replace anything for me. I was met and helped by Bassel, who politely listened to my story, got the go-ahead to replace everything, and then did so. When he brought my cleaned-up AFOs back to me, I didn't even recognize them! Brand-new looking! I started trying to get a new leg in June, 2017 from the unnamed company until the Prosthetist hurt me 4 weeks ago and I fired him. I contacted Evergreen's Spokane Valley Office (after reading the positive reviews here) and Libby connected me with Alex Bates on October 8th of this year. Alex and her team has been very good and efficient in working with me. I picked up my new leg today (11/08/2017) after only 3 weeks since my first visit. The prosthesis fits nice and looks great. Tamara was great in performing my pre-tests and Dr. Shurtz quickly put my mind at ease regarding the changes in my eyes since my last prescription. One of the real gems in their office is Jackie, the optician. I hate choosing glasses and my last pair of glasses were ugly and didn't fit right, so I seldom wore them and used readers. Jackie was incredible in kindly educating me regarding my choices and helped me select a great pair of progressive lens glasses (from a surprising selection) and I got a pair of driving glasses at the same time. She is a lot of fun to work with. One of the first things I noticed when I changed from readers to glasses was how clear everything looks! I should have done this way earlier. I highly recommend these guys and will be back again next year.
