If you want to be twisted like a pretzel go to a traditional chiropractor, but if you want the latest techniques this is the place. They are thorough in their approach to treatment. This time it is my arm and shoulder which has been recurring for over 2 years. I originally went to an orthopedic doctor and after going to PT 3 separate times over 2 years with just a few months of relief I contacted Bright Life to see if they felt my issue could be helped. Yes, there is a lot of evaluation, but it is a pleasure to know a doctor wants to know what they are dealing with before starting a treatment. After just one week I was not wakening up in pain and was able to sleep through the night. It is always up to the person, but you are given a comprehensive review of your conditions, and you decide how you want to proceed. I am extremely active person who plays tennis and golf, and enjoys hiking and travelling. My symptoms were keeping me from enjoying an active life. My Atlanta Orthopaedic doctor put me on oral medication and PT and said to return if the numbness progressed and he would schedule an epidural. Several of my golfing friends have gone down the route of epidurals, ablations and some have resorted to surgery. I was hesitant to go down that rabbit hole because it felt like I was masking the problem and not addressing the issues. A friend had great success treating her Sciatica with Stem Cells so I started my research. I learned there are SC clinics all over the world. I am very used to Chiropractic care and have had at least 10 different Chiropractors (including my Uncle) adjust me over my lifetime throughout the country, depending on where I was living. Not all Chiropractors are of the same caliber, as you can imagine. After my first 2 visits, I can confidentially say, with my experience, that Dr. Domanski is someone you can trust your spine with. I will be putting my body back as a priority and getting regular care between the two cities I bounce between. My experience with Crossroads Chiropractic & Wellness: I was in immense pain, in my shoulder, starting 3 days ago that was limiting my daily activities and sleep. I toggled with the idea of finding a new Chiropractor in Savannah since I don't live here but visit monthly. I researched and found Dr. Domanski. I knew it would be worth a try if they were seeing new patients (they are and were SO helpful to get me in immediately, THANK YOU!). PROs: - Excellent adjustment by Dr. Domanski (which is not always easy on a very stiff patient). When I saw my current xrays the 1st thing I said was "this is going to take time to get right". Having had whip lash from a car accident, falling on my head from an attack of vertigo and who knows what other assault and injury over the years messed up my spine (I'm a very active person). As they say, "time takes a toll". Vertigo attacks had become more frequent. Xrays showed bone spurs on my neck vertebrae, as well as a messed-up curve and not such a great back alignment. Knowing so many people over the years with painful back, leg shoulder, neck etc problems and not getting the proper care, encouraged me to act now. Since I began treatment in October, I haven't had another vertigo attack. What I thought was a shoulder problem which I received months of PT for but still had residual neck pain is gone. It is an investment of time and money. To me it is well worth both. I am in my 70's. If I don't have good health, it will certainly diminish my fun.
