This place is so nice and the people who work there are even better! I am not from the area....or the state even but I am there just about every other weekend. 8/10 pet stores by me are commercially owned and I prefer to shop local mom & pop stores so when my boyfriend took me to this place I thought it was just the bees knees!! Their selection of products is even better than the big box stores and their prices are competitive. They carry awesome holistic and grain free brand dog food which is what we mainly go there for and their choices of bones are enormous! They even have a small back room section for smaller animals. My boyfriend and I went there one day to try some new dog food and we spoke with the guy and he told us that we can buy it and try it and if our dog doesn't like it that we can bring back whatever food is left and they will compensate us for the remaining food. I stopped in with a friend who is a regular customer few weeks ago so she can get her dog a bag of food. I saw that none of the brands I buy at the big box chain pet store that I feed my dog were sold here. I asked questions and quickly learned the differences in fillers & quality in the various brands. I was feeding my dog corn based food that really isn't healthy for him. I said I would stop by when the 40lb bag of food I had just purchased else where was finished & yesterday I did buy a bag here. So, I am spending a few dollars more per bag, but the health benefits and the possibility of him living a little while longer and a better quality of life are worth it. He didn't like the food initially, he turned his nose up at it, and looked at me like he was saying "what are you feeding me?" I'm assuming since he's used to eating "junk food" brand dog food it was probably like going from a bag of potato chips to a big bowl of broccoli. When I woke up this morning the bowl was empty so I'm sure he will get used to it. The staff was very helpful & friendly. I like the loyalty program there, if you buy 12 bags the 13th is free as well. read more

Nice family run business. They blow everyone's prices out of the water. They also have a groomer attached to their building. Awesome! Feed your pet great, never have to deal with vet again!!! This store came highly recommended to me. After my 1st visit I know why. Great staff. Very knowledgeable. Willing to go the extra mile to help you make wise and comfortable choices for your pet. Literally answered about 40 of my questions and made me feel so comfortable. And thier products are top notch. You won't find them in pet chains stores or grocery stores. I won't shop anywhere else. Everyone there couldn't be more helpful! A complete inventory of food, toys, meds, and all the essentials. Got a question? They are not afraid to ask the owner or fellow workers for an answer. My dog was on chicken and i tried the lamb for a change. It did not agree with him . As promised, they exchanged it, no questioned asked, for a brand new bag of the chicken. After your 6th bag you get one free! They know i have a bad back so they bring it to the counted and then to my car. Pricing is no more than the big box stores and always well stocked. He has several of his labs wandering around the store, always looking for someone to throw the ball to them. I rescue dogs, and always use mark for the best food. Usually dogs are skinny and have other minor issues, and the raw variety of dog foods he carries works miracles.
