I tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Rahman as an existing patient for weeks and left messages with his staff to call me almost every other day for weeks. As soon as they move to Clovis, things changed. When I moved over behind Clovis community hospital, they changed insurance policies because they moved to a new group, and working with them was impossible. I got so bad I was told that my insurance is no longer taking, and he basically told me they couldn't help me and go outside. This is not how you treat a patient who has been with the doctor for over ten years and relies on him for advice. The sad part is I was not the only one; there were at least 2 to 3 other people in the waiting room and also left, and we talked outside by the elevators; one of them mentioned a lawsuit. I didn't jump into that conversation, but yes, we were all disappointed with the treatment from the staff and the no communication from the doctor. Now let's add salt to the wound I returned to Dr. Rainwater, and when I asked her all my files, they refused to give them to me. Here we are almost eight or nine months later, and I'm still waiting and have called regularly, and this offer should be ashamed of yourself the way to treat customers and patients I can recommend Dr. Rainwater in Valley urologist; they were inviting and took me back in in a heartbeat; they do a great job.

She got the earliest appointment she could get me with Dr. Ambati. The scheduler was nice. She said we would have to pay oop but to bring my insurance cards the day of and said I would be getting an email 3day prior to the appointment. I got several check in emails took about 10mins to fill out the information. Then I noticed they had changed my original appointment time of 1630 to 1545 instead without any calls to even ask if that would work for us. Luckily we had no other plans prior so we were able to come in at a sooner time but a courtesy call or message would have been nice to asked if they could change it. The day of the appointment. The gps took me to the back parking lot so we ended up walking further than we had to so we ended up being a few mins late. As we got in the building we were looking for the check in desk they were calling me to see I was still coming and I said I was in the building. The lady at the front desk who assisted us in checking in was nice. I tired giving her our insurance cards as instructed to do so when I scheduled but she said that it was too late to get the insurance cards and that we would have to pay out of pocket and call our insurance company after to get reimbursed. She was so apologetic for the confusion. We didn't argue and said that was fine. She was so happy and said we were so kind lol since she said everyone was arguing with her all day. She printed our receipt and aftercare instructions. She went over the process; we'll get called back for a consultation with the doctor then we would have to step out during the procedure. We waited a few mins and we got called back to get consulted with Dr. Ambati. He came in the room and he was professional, kind, knowledgeable. Went over what was expected and answered our questions. Shortly after a nurse came in and took him she said the procedure would be about 20 minutes. After the procedure she brought him back to us in the waiting room and said he did very well. They put a new diaper on him and he was very calm and comfortable. They greeted us as we left and said to call if we had any concerns. Day 5 post-op and everything looks great! No infections, no fever, no swelling. So far we've been happy with the care and the procedure. Only complaint would be the appointment time change with no update and the insurance confusion. Other than that the facility was clean, the staff we encountered there was pleasant.

First and formost i want to say that the medical care i have received from the doctors has been great. They are caring physicians that strive to give the best care. The office staff on the other hand leave alot to be desired. Over the last few years it has deteriated to horrible experiences . There has been several incidents that could be reported, but i am going to focus on this one incident that happened on this last Thursday. I phoned into the office with a medical issue. I did receive a call back from a back office staff in a few hours. She assured me that she would talk to the doctor and get right back to me. I have had enough UTI's over the years to know that is what i was having. I never received a call back. Im still waiting. By 6pm on Thursday evening i realized that i was not going to get a call back. I had been in pain all day. Thank God Fresno has several walk in medical facilites and i took myself to one. I received the medical care i needed. The doctor there phoned in a prescription. I began feeling better the next day. It is obvious that the staff member at Urology Associates never spoke to my doctor. I have never experienced anything like this before from any medical facility. I can only hope that the administration reads these reviews and considers evaluating their staff and hopefully make changes.

My recent surgery to repair an inguinal hernia was performed by Dr. Russel Martin, and I can tell you with absolute confidence that it was the easiest surgical experience of my life. Dr. Martin is a very good-natured man who exudes and inspires confidence that clearly comes, not from arrogance, but from experience, genuine skill, and dedication to his profession. All of my questions were answered ... all of my concerns were addressed. Dr. Martin was both patient and articulate. His team in the office and at the hospital (St. Agnes) were top-flight and made me feel very well cared for the entire time. My anesthesiologists were flawless. On a scale of 1-10 my post-op pain level never got past a 4 and my recovery has been rapid (two weeks later I am in the pool swimming laps and feeling fine) I feel none of the common post-op discomfort sometimes caused by the injection of CO2. I am 78 and Dr. Martin, made sure that I was ok for the procedure by sending me to Dr. Khoi Le (also an excellent doctor) for a cardiac clearance. As I said, surgery is stressful, but I can honestly say that Dr. Martin is the best I could hope for, and I remain very satisfied and grateful for his help in improving the quality of my life. If I could award him more stars I certainly would.

When she entered the room she asked if I was "in a hurry or something." I politely reminded her that our appointment was over an hour prior to her entering our room. The remainder of the appointment was met with rude remarks and heavy sighs. Because she is the only endocrinologist we opted to give her and her office another chance. The second appointment again had us well behind schedule without anyone else in the office. The receptionist was taking a break of some kind when we arrived and I had to cautiously walk balk into the office to find her so we could be checked in. We never received follow up phone calls with lab results or to make follow up appointments. The office is adamant about their no show policy, which I had no intention of violating, however it proved next to impossible to continue making appointments with any kind of ease. Our last communication was my child having blood work and was told I would hear from Dr Nyugen. Almost a year later I'm still awaiting that call.

He asked the front desk if they automatically charge or get authorization before charging which they explained they do not automatically charge without his consent. The doctor had also informed him the shots that he was getting at his previous Urologist is not offered and what is offered is not covered by insurance. On his own he asked his pharmacist and they said it's around $500 per week. $2000 for a retiree is expensive. Without the doctor informing him,my father got a call from a company stating they wanted to confirm his information for the new product (seems the first few were going to be free but then he would end up paying out pocket for the rest). Therefore my father called the office asking if they were aware of such request by the office to this company which they said it was probably done by the doctor. When he went in to get some test results, doctor entered the room, told him the results and then brings all of these incidents up stating why are you asking the front desk about your credit card or why are you calling the office asking about the call you got. And that he was doing him a favor. And then ends with I'm no longer going to accept you in this office and your file is going to be sent back. WOW. I'm just baffled at how some doctors think they can just take advantage of ppl. You can't ask any questions? Extremely rude!
