I had a brow lift by Dr. e. Killion. It was terrible from day 2 to this day…read more Every time I came in I complained about the same issue. The scar was visisble on my forehead NOT hidden in my hairline and my forehead was now lumpy. Until I asked for a refund in April 2026 she never once mentioned a revision. Moving out of state so revision not an option and why would I go back to the same doctor that left me with a visible scar on my forehead. The pictures are from Dec. 2024 to April 2026. Also, the revision is supposed to last 5 to 15 years. My one eye lasted a year. I pointed that out. The picture are before surgury (no scar), during recovery which they said was normal, picture taken 4 month ago and a current picture of scar and lumpy forehead April 22, 2026

I always appreciate how she shares super helpful insights on skincare, maintenance, and prevention--it's clear she's passionate about what she does. What I really love is the care she puts into her patients and her room. It's decorated to match her personality perfectly--warm, welcoming, and with this personal touch that makes you feel right at home. And don't even get me started on the bird feeder she's set up outside her window... It's such a sweet detail that just speaks to how thoughtful she is. Highly recommend Karina for anyone looking for an aesthetician who truly cares and makes the whole experience not just great for your skin, but also for your spirit!

My left eyelid surgery was botched causing permanent damage. The doctor did corrective surgery on the wrong eyelid. He admitted his mistake and offered to fix it. Saint Luke's won't tell me his background. I found out later, eyelids are not his specialty. He didn't put any information related to his mistake, or the solution he offered to fix his mistake, into my medical record. Dr. Thomas W. McEwan performed the surgery. Saint Luke's told me in a letter that he left town. The Plastic Surgery Department will not give me a Patient Satisfactory Survey, even though Saint Luke's Hospital has asked them to do so several times. They are not an entity of Saint Luke's Hospital. 1) I was told my doctor had done many upper eyelid surgeries, was experienced, trained, and board certified. After the surgery was botched, they have backed down from all those claims. That makes me wonder if I was actually his first eyelid patient, even though they told me I wasn't. 2) I asked the doctor the day of the surgery how many eyelid surgeries he had done before. He didn't know, but assured me he was experienced. I trusted him. Now neither he nor Saint Luke's will answer that question. I asked for an explanation why. They won't answer that question either. 3) The doctor offered to fix the damage. He removed so much skin, I no longer had an eyelid crease. He would fix the damage by surgically taking skin from somewhere on my body (he didn't know where at the time) and surgically grafting that skin to my eyelid. My issue is, they won't tell me if he has ever successfully done that procedure. More surgery is required. I didn't think it wise to go back to him. 4) The doctor pointed out another issue where skin was left hanging. That was because he removed so much skin from my left eyelid, the hanging skin had no eyelid crease to follow. He offered to fix that issue by "clipping the skin". More surgery. None of that information is in my medical record. No explanation as to why that information was left off my medical record. 5) I found out later the doctor specializes in grafting skin on the body. Eyelids are not his specialization. I found that out from a source outside of St. Luke's. I asked, and St. Luke's did confirm that to be true. 6) A doctor that specializes in eyelids could not repair the damage. He told me too much skin had been removed at Saint Luke's. He also told me, "Do not let him do a skin graft on your eyelid, you will not like it." That doctor repairs eyelid damage caused by trauma, disease, and botched surgeries. I asked how this could have happened. He told me, "It looks like Dr. Thomas McEwan just got his numbers crossed." 7) My Medical Record does not show, a) my eyelid was damaged, b) that the doctor offered a skin graft as the solution, and c) he offered to fix left over hanging skin by "clipping it." I asked, but got no explanation as to why none of that information is in my Medical Record. 8) I asked if the doctor had reported to the hospital that he caused damage to my eyelid. I was told by Saint Luke's that he didn't feel he did anything wrong, but he felt bad about what happened to me. 9) I received a letter that the doctor is no longer with Saint Luke's and that he left town. That's all I know about that. I didn't get an explanation.

I let that go as I had heard great things but once I started getting with my friend who was a nurse she asked me if I knew he was safe to hook with I said "yeah he's a nurse so he knows what to do" her response was extremely judgmental saying that she's never heard of a nursing job that required STD testing...not what I meant at all...I just meant he's a nurse and knew the importance of testing. From there I ended up having skin issues (after further testing with another doc realized it was allergies) and she refused to test me after having me take off work to get a biopsy because she said I was be in "immense pain and not worth it" which is nuts because I finally switched to a specialist at KU and found out it was allergies and cleared it up. Unfortunately I just never felt heard or seen at St Luke's with her and I felt very judged and given up on.
