Wow! Jackie is AMAZING! I was away with some friends in Chestertown this weekend (a very low-key…read morebachelorette weekend) and one friend suggested that we find a local yoga class since it was raining and outdoor activities were a bust. My friend found Jackie online and emailed to see if she would do a class for us. Long story short, she (on very short notice) set up a private lesson for us at a super reasonable price. She asked if we had any particular areas we wanted to work on and focused the stretches on those. She worked with each of us to perfect our poses and was super fun and engaging! The time (1.5hrs) zipped by so quickly and we were incredibly relaxed afterwards. We all enjoyed it so much, that we asked her if we could come back again the next day and she agreed! Next day was even better - she pushed us to do some GREAT stretches and poses. If I lived anywhere close to Chestertown, I would definitely take regular lessons with Jackie! As a bonus, the yoga studio is attached to a GREAT coffee shop/cafe, called the Seed House. We tucked in to some tasty treats (avocado toast with poached eggs) and loose leaf tea after our workout - perfect!

I was not only impressed with her flexible spirit (willing to meet us on a rainy day at the drop of a hat), but I was also really impressed with her class. She *really* tailored the class to our level, gently introducing the use of props (like bolsters and straps) to help us through the movement while always allowing us the freedom to push further. Additionally, she really listened to our concerns and tailored the class around our trouble areas (hips and lower back). A *VERY IMPRESSIVE* yoga teacher and experience! Oh, and the space at the Seed House is beautiful too! I *thoroughly* recommend!!!
