They didn't even sign the check they gave me and refused to send another one in less than two weeks, so I had to drive back to get them to sign it. I filed a complaint with the CA insurance commissioner. A month later Allstate quickly wrote me another check for more than the first one, so they had low balled my estimate so much they ultimately had to give me more than twice as much. I was hit by someone who had State Farm insurance right before this and the damage was much less but they gave me more than Allstate's two checks added up to with no hassle. When I politely asked for a quick call to understand what drove the price increase, I received dismissive, three-word responses and no real explanation. The interaction felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. If a tax advisor treats potential clients this way during the onboarding process, it raises SERIOUS concerns about how they handle their actual work and client relationships. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
