I am probably the one and only person that likes to go to the dentist. I love having my teeth…read morecleaned, and having procedures doesn't bother me. I have probably some of the worst genetics and results of medications teeth could have. I had one pulled last year, and a cleaning. I found the office to be wonderfully clean the staff super friendly and nice, and for the first time ever I did not have dry socket! Recently, the office called me, they needed to reschedule my cleaning appointment. The woman on the phone apologized profusely, and I said that truly in this climate it was not a problem, I am happy to wait so that someone more urgent can get in. Apparently the woman had been getting horrible comments when she had to call other patients, all kinds of cussing and yelling at her. I told her I was very sorry to hear that, and she will never find that in our home, we understand these things, and anything we can do to help the effort we will do. I thanked her and the Doctor for being IN the office doing the work. She said I made her day, just because I was nice to her. People, if you glean nothing else from my review, please take this away: we all need to be kind to each other, we need to respect each other, and we need to have patience for our professionals who are risking their own health and safety for us. Please be kind.

I'm extremely disappointed with how my appointment was handled…read more I scheduled my appointment on August 24 for September 3 at 3:00 PM. Between then and my appointment, I received multiple confirmations. A text and phone call on August 24, a text and phone call on September 1, and another text confirmation the day before my appointment. With all of those confirmations, I had every reason to believe my appointment was set and that the office had everything correct. Then, on the day of my appointment, I received a call telling me that they could not see me at my scheduled 3:00 PM time because someone had booked me incorrectly and asking if I could come in earlier. I work, and I specifically took time off to be available for this appointment. What makes this even more frustrating is that I didn't even receive 8 hours' notice that THEY needed to change my appointment. What really bothers me is the double standard. Patients are expected to provide at least 24 hours' notice if we need to cancel or reschedule, and otherwise we can be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Yet the office can change or effectively cancel a patient's appointment with less than 8 hours' notice because of an error on their end, after repeatedly confirming the appointment, and there is no consideration for the patient's time or inconvenience. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was not a last-minute scheduling issue that nobody could have known about. The appointment had been confirmed multiple times by both text and phone. There were several opportunities to catch the scheduling error before the day of the appointment. And being the day before a holiday weekend, it honestly left me wondering whether the office simply didn't want to keep a 3:00 PM appointment that day. Whether that was the case or not, that is the impression this situation gave me. My time is just as valuable as theirs. If patients are expected to respect the office's cancellation policy, I believe the office should show the same respect for patients' schedules. Very disappointing experience, especially before I even had the opportunity to become a patient.

My husband, several friends, and I have been proud Kelly Dentristry patients for almost two decades…read morenow, and we could not be happier. One side is Dr Alice Ann Kelly's practice, and on the other side, Dr Will Kelly practices. We are patients of Dr Alice Ann Kelly. The entire staff is stellar, from Ellen at the front desk, who is the appointment scheduler and jack-of-all-trades, to each dental assistant and hygienist, to the amazing Dr Alice Ann, the care is second to none! Kelly Dentristry uses state-of-the-art equipment and even have a dental lab in house, so many crowns and other dental appliances are made on the spot. They are gentle and caring, and we truly look forward to seeing everyone when we do our six month checkups and cleanings. It is a medium to small practice, so it is intimate and they take excellent care of their us. Quit dreading going to the dentist, make a change and join the happy Kelly Dentistry patients!

I really like and recommend Will Kelly III! He was my dentist for several years until my health…read moreplan put his office out of network. His office staff is very nice and attentive to my schedule as we as Will being such a great dentist and Guy. I can a lot about him and his customer service but I'll just mention one detail. Before I went on vacation my filling came out on Thursday, if you know dentist they rarely or never work on Friday. I searched the internet and found dr Kelly and he was able to replace my filling the next day. I've been with him ever since and he does great work that lasts. If your insurance allows you to use Will Kelly then please look him up.

Dr. Fox is unprofessional and rude…read more No one wants to go to a good dentist let alone someone with such unbridled rudeness and lack of respect for his patients.

I can't even give this facility one star (unfortunately, I have to in order for this to post)…read more My daughter went to get her teeth cleaned today (as a new patient). After the supposed "exam" rude and demeaning comments were made to her about the condition of her teeth. She was told that she needed an extensive deep cleaning that would cost several hundred dollars. We are paying out of pocket because our military insurance doesn't cover dental. The office wasn't very happy once they realized that we didn't have coverage. Charges incurred for this visit were $175. Granted, it's been a little over a year since my daughters teeth were cleaned last, but she's been away at college. She has beautiful teeth that have been well-maintained (she couldn't get in with her regular dentist due to a schedule conflict). Making an appointment with this office was a horrible decision. My daughter is traumatized by how she was talked to and treated. The patients were conversing amongst themselves and 3 of the 4 patients in the waiting room were told they needed oral surgery, the other was told a tooth was not salvageable. It sounds as if this office is charging people/insurance companies for services that they don't need. What are the odds of EVERY patient needing expensive dental work? I will be submitting a formal written complaint to the American Dental Association and to the North Carolina State Board of Dentistry tomorrow.
