They charged my insurance $2,527 for anesthesia! That is outrageous! NO anesthesia is worth that amount. It's no wonder insurance premiums are ridiculous. Our healthcare system/charges really need to be investigated. The level of "care" does not justify the astronomical charges. I also have mixed feelings about my experience with this place.

After a run a round trying to get an appointment, I delayed an out of town trip to see a MD here. I encountered a traffic delay on the way. I called to let them know I was running late and about 5 minutes away. Upon arrival and waiting for the receptionist to finish up with someone else, then told my appointment was cancelled because I arrived over 15 minutes late. The next appointment 2 weeks away. I was 19 minutes late because I passed up the place and parked next door to rush in. I had to wait for the receptionist to finish with others. I got the run around again trying to find out the person I talked with about my delay. (Unknown.) If I would not have called ahead of time I might understand why my appointment was cancelled. Is the wait for your appointment Never beyond 15 minutes? The office was packed and I am certain the MD was not just "waiting" for me to arrive without seeing patients. Reading some of the other negative ratings because of long wait times and seeing the number of patients in the waiting area, I doubt this practice keeps up with the appointment times made. If any patient waits longer than 15 minutes for their appointment is it expected they will walk out and cancel their appointment? The inner workings of this practice have much to be desired to run a Professional practice. A patient's time is just as valuable as the doctors. A cancelled appointment and 2 weeks to see a MD for an injury is not acceptable. I will not use this practice for my medical needs.

This review is more directed towards Dr Drew's head nurse. I scheduled an appointment weeks ago,…read morewas never told that I was seeing a PA. I get there this morning and was told that I was scheduled with the PA so I asked if Dr Drew was available. The receptionist called in the nurse who came in with a diary of the number of times she called me down to the second and boy did she reiterate the fact that I didn't answer. From the word go, she starts playing the blame game. I was actually stunned at how she presented me with "receipts " of the 2 attempts she made to contact me. Prior to this appointment I spoke to that office twice and at no time was I told that I would be seeing a PA. It is just so insensitive to just come out swinging blaming a patient It is unfortunate because from the reviews it seems he is probably a good doctor. His staff, namely, his "head" nurse leaves much to be desired. I was disappointed with not being able to see him, but would have probably still saw the PA because I had been suffering for months, waiting for weeks for the appointment, took off work, and driven a considerable distance. But this nurse completely turned me off, just smug with nothing to offer but indifference and "receipts "......down to the second.
