I'm sitting in my hospital bed as I wrote this review. I've been waiting for my nurse to come help…read moreme for almost 30 minutes now. I have three broken ribs, a pneumothorax and pneumonia. I can barely breathe, yet, here I am reviewing a hospital on Yelp at 5:00 in the morning. Extreme incompetence in the Med-Surg Unit. They didn't even know how or where to stick the heart monitor leads on me when I got up here from the ER. I was told I would have 2 chest x rays yesterday and only had one. I was told I would have a maintenance medication to replace my own prescription that I brought with me to the hospital. Three days later and I'm still waiting on that maintenance med. I'm lucky I haven't stroked out or gone into a coma, as this medicine is a benzodiazepine and isn't to be stopped cold turkey. Sunday night, my oxygen tube fell off my bed and I called the nurse to help me out because I couldn't breathe (pneumonia), and it took her about 10 minutes to get back with me. I'm told not to drink anything, but hydration is a great way to help heal pneumonia. Nobody has collected a urine sample once since I've been here, yet every time I go to the bathroom I have to urinate in a plastic container that sits between the toilet lid and rim. They dump it every time I go to the bathroom so I'm assuming I'm not getting any bloodwork done while I'm here. I'm experiencing extreme swelling of my knees and feet, but I have to wait until a doctor starts rounds here shortly. I'm told within 30 minutes, but their 30 minutes seems to be closer to a couple of hours. If I make it out of here alive I will never come here again. I usually love this hospital, but this has been the worst experience ever, for me. There's so much more that I could say, but I've covered the main issues so I will close this up now. The only good thing about my stay thus far is my LPN, Gerri, and nurse Linda, who came up from telemetry yesterday. The respiratory therapist is nice, too. I feel like I'm in a negligent environment and advise you to get to a different hospital if you want quality treatment and to feel like your voice matters. All the best.

Arrived to the main campus to get directions to said walk in clinic and the black security lady in the front was so rude. She told us very rudely that since Covid is a thing that we don't have a walk in clinic. Took all that back talk to finally tell us that it's called an urgent care not a walk in clinic. Hospital itself is good but the black female security guard needs to be fired. She shouldn't be representing this place. So I'm giving her a 1 star. Not the hospital itself. Lady if you're seeing this, go get a job you actually like. No one Is making you be a security guard. Do better sis

This is the worst hospital I have ever been too in my whole life and I'm 55,it's not an adult…read morehospital to get help, cause they definitely don't help you there at all, all they do is drug you up in there, all my family and friends said when I talked to them while in there they told me I sounded horrible, and when I got home my friend came to visit me and said Kerry what did they do to you in there you look like a zombie and the day I got out I started having hallucinations that night I seen things moving that was the Monday night and the Tuesday it got worse I saw everything in my house moving and that was only at night, then on wed it was really bad I was seeing people in my yard cutting my trees down I called the cops they came out and they saw nothing then later in the early morning I was seeing these guys cutting more trees and moving things in my yard, again they saw nothing so they told me the third time they came and looked around again and saw nothing that I was hallucinating so they said we going to take you to the hospital to get me check out, and charity hospital didn't give me any information on what was happening so they just took me to a room where it was freezing for the night and almost the whole day when they decided to take me to another hospital for 4 days where I was treated very nice and it was a clean hospital and they were all nice to me and when I got out of there and I took a bus home, I was feeling so good that day on, they were giving me most of my meds I was taking at home and about 4 or 5 others of their medicine and I told them there's one of my meds I only take two at night but they gave me all five, and the med I needed the most they could not afford to get them so I had to do without them for almost 5 days, I was a zombie in there, stayed drugged up, so I will report them to Medicare, for abusing their system, and 90% of the staff that work there are very rude, I had a doc tell two staff members to get me an egg crate mattress and another pillow for my bed cause I had neck surgery and need back surgery, this was at about 2 pm on a Friday afternoon, I never saw it so I went ask the nurse to get me my stuff she said she would check into it all she did was sit on her butt and did nothing so I went back in about two hours and checked again and the lazy nurse said they check and they didn't have any what a liar, so I did the same Saturday I asked about 5 times sometimes they didn't answer me sometimes they did so Sunday a staff member which is a very caring person named miss Glenda and Shawn another tech help me as much as they could, so when miss Glenda came on Sunday I asked her miss Glenda can you get me an egg crate and an extra pillow cause the doctor ordered that for me on Fri afternoon at about 2 pm and I still never got it, so she said give me a minute boo, and within 5 min I had my stuff, when Fri and sat they kept telling me they didn't have any, what a bunch of useless liars they have there, I fell in the shower and hit my head and shoulder, and that's where I had surgery, they didn't even bother taking me to the hospital to get checked out, and one day my neck and back were hurting me so much, I asked them to take me to the hospital and I was told no, another thing that happen, was one night I wanted to go shower and they leave the towels in the hall on a rack so when I went to grab me some towels all they had was washcloths so I ask Tara a tech on the floor to go get me a bath towel so it took her about 5 min to get of her butt to go check and when she walked out on the floor she went and check the towel rack, hats like calling me a liar, cause I had just checked the rack, and when she checked she saw all they had was washcloths, so she started to head down the hall to get me a bath towel then she turns around and says if you would be up at seven you would have a bath towel, and that really got me mad her being so dang rude, and they crew change at 7 pm so why was she still there and has the nerve to tell me if I would be there by seven I would have a bath towel, so evidently it w before 7 since they crew change at 7pm and she was still there, so after she gave me my towel and I was slowly walking by their little gossip room, I told her off good then she wanted to fight how professional she was, cause you not going to be rude to me and expect me to be nice to her, cause she isn't my mother and will not talk to me in that manner, to me she's crazy she needs to be put in that hospital not the ones that were in there, and another occasion I went to the nurses station to get a pair of paper cloths cause I had nothing there to wear at all, and Miss Tara the tech that I had it out with was walking into the nursing station so she looks at me and says all nice I'll go get it for you, and I told her I don't want her doing anything for me, then she tells me she didn't want to do it in the first place, and that place is very dirty they had dust balls in the corners, cause Iwatch
