Amazing job, unbeatable price, exceptional professionalism…read more We hired Christopher home improvement LLC for replacing roof and siding of our house recently. I had to say this may be the best decision we have ever made on choosing a contractor for home renovation work from many highly rated companies on the internet. We are deeply impressed with Raul and his crew for their honesty, transparency and attention to details when quoting the work plan and price. Matter of fact, they advised us in the first day the missing layer of insulation under the siding and added that without extra charge, rather than ignoring that design flaw by home builder. Most of all, they completed all the jobs as planned with upright workmanship, superb diligence and exceptional professionalism. We can't say enough positive things about these wonderful people. We recommend the Christopher home improvement LLC to every home owners without reservation!

Which honestly gave me a chance to witness their work and determine if I wanted to hire them for the larger project in the spring, which I definitely am doing. The weather was giving us some problems but I appreciated Jennifer's honesty. She told me upfront that although most of the glue should hold the stones she wanted to be sure so she came back in a few days to check on it and fix anything that wasn't perfect. She did just that and she did it free of charge and an all around excellent job. All in all they are a fabulous team and I will let ya'll know how the project comes out in the Spring. Which is cobblestone edging around the walkway rather than having to glue it every year. It is now the middle of winter and the stones haven't moved. Cant wait to see how the edging turns out come May. Below is a picture I took recently and a picture i took when they were first done.

On the day the new roof was installed we arrived home from work after dark to a dumpster filled with old roofing material and on the top of the pile was quite a few empty beer cans and beer boxes, I knew this was a bad sign so I took photos of this. 3 months later the entire roof leaked because they forgot to put the water and ice barrier down. They also did not install the ridge vent (we questioned this via email and the owners response was he couldn't because of the pitch of the roof which is rediculous, you can put a ridge vent on any roof!) Due to the lack of ventilation it caused black mold in the entire attic. They came to fix it by installing the water/ice barrier material that they forgot to put on in march of 2019 but still did not install a ridge vent which is needed to vent air into the attic. I repeatedly voiced my concerns to the owner about the mold and he emailed me that it wasn't mold, just algae and it would dry up. Its now 14 months later (and we now have become very educated on roof ventilation) after several emails back and fourth to the owner and a final phone call to him which he became extremely belligerent, told me it's not his fault and told me to F off and hung up on me. We now have hired a very expensive mold abatement company and also had to pay a new professional roofing contractor to install a ridge vent which was in my contract with JS&R Roofing. Such a nightmare!!!
