    Raab Well Drilling

Raab Well drilling did tens of thousands of dollars of work here for us over the past 4 years,…read moreincluding a geothermal project plus work on three pre-existing wells, all of them over 600 ft deep. I would have been the first to recommend them with ***** if it were not for the last well, which soured all the good will they had built with us. On every job, I deferred to Rick Raab's recommendations, never tried to negotiate down the price, paid immediately on receipt of invoice. This last job to renew the pump and galvanized pipe that were failing was no exception. Unfortunately, substituting PVC for the galvanized never worked, it failed two times. To Rick's credit, he replaced the PVC with galvanized at his expense, he never asked me to cover any of the materials or labor. Then the new variable speed pump he installed to replace the traditional Gould failed. That is where things broke down between us. I offered to pay for a new Gould pump but they ghosted me. I am left holding the paid bill for $1000's with nothing to show for it, just a deep dark useless hole in the ground. I have owned many small businesses and sympathize with others that have "bad" customers but that's not the case here. I am a stellar customer who treats people with respect, pays promptly and every contractor who ever worked for me will back me up, even in court if it comes to that. I hope it doesn't. I just want a fair handshake settlement for everyone.

Amazing . . . Our well pump died July 3 around 9pm. Raab was able to get out here by 11:30am on…read morethe 5th. Rick, the owner, came here personally. He worked on my disaster of a pump (electrical was fried, pump was fried, underground wiring was fried, the electrical wasn't cased properly and needed PVC casing due to its depth) for SEVEN + hours in 100+ degree heat without complaint or break. He went above and beyond what I would have expected, and his charges were more than reasonable. If your well needs help or you need to drill one CALL RAAB!!

We use Edward Powell Pump & Well Drilling to maintain our well. The pump was loosing power…read more Today, 2/18/26, Steve and Sean replaced our pump of 47 years. Before they started removing the old pump, we had some questions. Steve was very knowledgeable of all working parts of a well. It amazed us how he could share this information in the way we could understand the mechanics of what was going wrong with our original pump. After his great explanation we were comfortable knowing a new pump, using quality parts, would be the assurance of a working well for a good long time and not have the unexpected breakdown and a sudden stop to flowing water. He and Sean are a great team and represent their company in a very professional manner. Al and Joanne Fonash

The buyer of my former house used this company to inspect the water and well systems…read more They tried upselling a bunch of work that didn't need done. The inspector said the well pump was pulling "too much amperage" at 8.5amps even though the pump was rated to run at 9.3 amps. He recommended replacing the electric wire to the pump and replacing the pump, even though the pump was less than a year old. He also incorrectly identified the pump make and model. They then tried citing the EPA for Ph on residential drinking water systems despite the fact the EPA doesn't mandate or regulate residential systems, and the test results were well within the county's guidelines. In summary, they have no clue what they are doing, but are willing to upcharge unknowing customers for excess work and use invalid sources to scare customers into spending money.
