I'm always amazed by places in the middle of nowhere far from the sea who serve great, traditional fried seafood. While waiting for service in nearby Red Bay, AL, we decided to partake in this highly recommended place although you can tell they aren't used to people sitting in the building to eat: the drive-thru line is a long road and most folks I'd call "locals" came and went with a side glance at the silly people sitting at the long Walmart-like plastic tables under the taxidermized deer and ram heads. I'd recommend the shrimp but you can't go wrong with anything they serve.

We had the catfish and the shrimp. Shrimp was right out of the freezer but was cooked nicely. Catfish was good. Everything was served hot and cooked well. We had heard about this place for years and I guess we expected a little more. It was good, fried, hot and crispy.

It's got the best good. Best tartar sauce south ( and north) of the Macon Dixon line! great family like cooking. Good Christian folk running the place. read more

The name says it all. You will not leave hungry but you will likely have to wait in line because this is a fantastically popular place. The food is fresh and well done and the staff are on the ball. Call in or drive up. Its gonna be good. read more

Great catfish!! Best I've had in a while! If you are planning on dining in the sitting area is very small. They had a ton of cars going through the drive through though. Highly recommend! read more

Fantastic fried southern fare. Hubby had the fried shrimp plate. I had the fish tacos. The hush puppies were fantastic. Cole slaw was just okay. Good baked potato. We really enjoyed our meal. read more

Great catfish dinner with coleslaw and a baked potato. Mainly a drive though restaurant but the do have indoor seating but no table service. My wife had smoked chicken on a baked potato that was also good. read more
