I don't know what kinda wizardry these guys are up to over there, but it's working for me! Thank you Vima for your neighborly presence here in Troy. My name is Jeanette. I attended a Taxes in Retirement 567 presentation in Middleton, WI in August…read more2026. I do not recommend providing any information to this organization by signing up for or attending any of their presentations. I did not use the link in the email they sent asking for a review, because that link allows others to change the writer's words. It shows a warning stating that. I am pretty sure the company is altering submitted reviews. It was worthless to me and the majority of attendees. It appeared that 2 or 3 people there could actually make sense of what was said and interacted with the speaker. However, they could have been "plants" just to make it seem that someone was getting something out of it. The speaker spoke continuously and way too fast. The majority of people in attendance just shook their heads and walked away in disbelief. I have a suspicion it was just a way to gather information to use or to sell for other marketing purposes. I would give zero stars if I could.

Evidently this is a marketing network that sells opportunities to local financial people. Many who…read moredo the seminars are not securities licensed...they are insurance salespeople. Why libraries and Chambers of Commerce allow these seminars in their locations and subliminally legitimize them is beyond me. These people are not accountants and do not have the licensing, education, or ability to discuss taxes. Don't waste your time. It's very close to fraudulent.

So wonderful that my financial firm is now close to home! I've been a client of Zhang Financial…read morefor many years. I have received better than benchmark returns with the lowest fee structure while staying in line with my overall financial needs. Long before I ever knew Charles and Lynn Zhang, I had dealt with financial firms and banks in the metro Detroit area to handle my irrevocable trust and revocable trust. None have ever provided the level of all-round exceptional service that I'm receiving with Zhang Financial. My portfolio is routinely reviewed and refreshed. Any life changes, tax issues or legal trust issues that concern me are addressed. They house a talented team that proficiently handles all my account requirements. My needs are always the first priority. Zhang is a Fee-Only firm, meaning that the only fees taken are a percentage of your assets. That's what you should look for in a financial firm. Fee-Only firms are not the same as Fee-Based firms. Fee-Based firms can take a percentage of your money and are also allowed to get kickbacks from funds they put you in. A major conflict of interest. I've always been a stickler on fees, whether upfront fees or internal fund fees. Zhang provided me the lowest fees in both areas while best addressing my financial goals. One of the things that first impressed me when speaking to Charles was his ability to meticulously choose funds that run the lowest internal fees with the highest performance on returns. Throughout the years they have earned my respect and admiration. I have complete trust in them. Zhang Financial is the epitome of what a financial firm should be. Barron's and other reputable sources have made no mistake in putting Zhang Financial at the top of their list!

I have used several financial advisors since the late seventies. I was not satisfied with their…read moreservice, results, and fees until I became a client of Zhang Financial. Their service and results are excellent, an added bonus is their Fee-Only approach. Having a fee-only financial advisor is the best way to ensure your financial advisor is working with your best interests and that the fees collected will be transparent and straight forward. Previous advisors were more concerned with churning my accounts rather than working for my benefit. I was so impressed with the products, people, and performance for my personal accounts that I had them manage my company's 401k as well. Zhang Financial is very honest and cost efficient. I am beyond pleased with their service. I have recommended Zhang Financial to family, friends, and clients.
