Nice little museum, pretty informative, with a location right by the water.
It would be nice if they had longer hours of operation. Their current business hours seem kind of limited. Still, it's informative and interesting to the history buffs like myself.
Cost of admission is $10 per person, which seems reasonable, I guess. Children under a specific age can be get in for free. I believe it's children under age ten.
Outside, there are multiple information boards detailing the history of the area, the original settlers, Edison's life/upbringing. Inside, there are several historical displays and relics from the area and Edison's family. The actual museum is housed within a very old train depot with a train caboose out front near the tracks.
All in all, an intriguing little piece of culture. It might be kind of uninteresting for small children who have short attention spans. read more
