I first started seeing Dr. Leib with high blood pressure, cholesterol and BMI. Over the course of time, with his care, my blood pressure, cholesterol and weight have been drastically improved. Dr. Leib takes the time to learn about his patients and use his expertise to support patient health. His medical advice is consistent with his understanding of the patient, and it's never about "just take a pill and it will all be better". Recently, my wife and I were experienced a significant health incident. We both truly appreciate the time and care he provided us following the accident. It's rare that a doctor takes the time with patients to do as thorough an examination as he did. Without hesitation, I believe that Dr. Leib is outstanding; his focus on complete health and quality of life has profoundly impacted my overall health and wellness. Dr. Leib's office is unique, and reflects his attention to detail. He is now located in an old church that he and his wife converted into their office. Both the office and support team are awesome. It's clear to his patients that the office is run with the same attention as his patients. Vivian, Susan and Kathy are each extremely positive and patient as they work with you--whether is't scheduling, reminders, referrals or billing.

I was surprised to see any reviews here less than 5*. I've been a patient of Dr. Spilman's for over…read moreten years for allergies and sinus issues. I had endoscopic sinus surgery performed by Dr. Spilman, it went perfectly and recovery was a snap - he is an amazing surgeon. In the past I've had allergy treatment / shots and the allergy office is top notch - great staff and never had a problem getting a shot quickly. Dr. Teng is newer to the Santa Cruz ENT practice, but the few times I've met with him have been pleasant and helpful - plus my wife underwent surgery with him and it exceeded her expectations, both the result, and the recovery. The surgeons here are the best of the best. They will give you direct feedback on what you need, with no frills. If you want a Doctor to tell you what you want to hear, or prescribe you something you think you need, this probably isn't the place for you. However, if you want excellent care, and results that improve your quality of life, I would recommend them without hesitation.

We've been going to SC EN&T Medical Group at 550 Water St. in Santa Cruz for several years for our…read moremother who will be 100 years old in just a few months. On April 14th I called because the tip of the hearing aid got stuck in my mother's ear. It usually takes 5-10 minutes for them to remove the piece. The hearing aid also needed a minor repair which also normally takes just 5-10 minutes. I called at 9:15 and left a message explaining the issue, but didn't receive a call back. I called again at 10:30 and the receptionist told me she would call us back. By 1:00 we hadn't heard from them so I had to take my mother to Sutter Urgent Care which took two hours. By the end of the day, we still had not heard from SC EN&T Medical Group. The next day, I took the hearing aid into the Water St. location for the repair. While I was trying to explain what needed to be done to one person, the receptionist who I talked to on the phone the previous day interrupted and claimed she tried to call us back. Well, we all know our cell phones provide a list of incoming and outgoing calls and none of the three phone numbers (mine, my sister's, or my mother's) shows a call from SC EN&T and no message was left. This review gets two stars only because the woman who helped me when I dropped off the hearing aid for repair (I think "Molly") was gracious, ready to listen, and it was ready to be picked up within an hour after I dropped it off. I understand the office is busy and people need to wait in line for service, but at the same time, consideration should be given when you know you have a 100 year-old client with a problem that can be fixed in 5-10 minutes. Instead, we had to go to Urgent Care where our mother was potentially exposed to sick people and falling asleep in the waiting room. I also do not appreciate being interrupted while I'm trying to explain a concern. Be respectful.
