I could barely use my arms and hands as well making driving and cooking out of my reach. I still have neuropathy but it is much better. I was working with Dr. Farhidvash but her availibility has decreased significantly since. I asked to be moved under the care of another neurologist and after waiting a month for approval, I was scheduled a couple months later only to be met by a nurse practitioner who assists Dr. F. She informed me that my neuropathy wasn't in their records. Disappointing. Disheartening. I got a referral from my primary care for another neurologist because the Neuron Clinic is terrible.

I discovered Dr. Justin Dominick. After calls to his office to find out if he would take my insuance (he does), I called for an appointment only to be told I need a referral. (I don't know why I wasn't told that when I talked to the office prior?? ) Anyway, my Internist took the time to.write a referral detailing my 50 years of headaches. The voice message from Dr. Dominick's OFFICE was that I need a "headache specialist." (Gee, I wonder why I didn't think of that!) He did not make any suggestions as to whom I might try. I was never given the opportunity to speak with Dr. Dominick prtsonally. All I know is I wasted weeks of valuable time.
