Street parking on Emma can get crowded when things are hopping, but there is usually available street parking on the side streets, and there is a large lot behind Phat Tire / First Security. Everything in Hello Local is... You guessed it, locally made. There's always a selection of coffee and apparel in there, and the other items rotate. I'd describe the store as having gift-shop type goods. The one area where Hello Local could improve is that they could have a bigger variety of items for sale in the store. That being said, Hello Local has a nice, clean, well-organized interior that doesn't look cluttered. Hello Local is a welcome addition to downtown Springdale.

They had a wonderful selection of artisan made soaps, lotion bars, lip balms, and a few other goodies. The owners were very sweet and congenial and welcoming. They were willing to explain the products to you if you had any questions, and they were very affordably priced as well. So, if you are traveling to or through Pryor, look them up and stop by, you won't be disappointed.

I read an article on Tulsa People about them so I decided to stop by. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by J.T. (Aka Jetara). She was so welcoming and immediately started sharing all about the business. One of their most popular products is their brow duo, a compact case with brow powder, sculpting creme, and mirror. She found the perfect shade for me and did a demo. The difference was very noticeable! The powder has jojoba oil so it conditions the brows and the creme has castor oil which promotes hair growth. They offer waxing services and have fun events throughout the year. Check their website to see what's coming up: a Galentine's event, a foundation workshop, even a brow brunch! I bought a lip gloss that hydrates and is non-sticky. They also promote local businesses. I bought a great scented candle from Tudda & Toots. The strawberries and cream was my favorite. This is a woman and Black owned business focused on offering clean and vegan products while targeting underserved markets and gaps in representation. LAMIK stands for Love and Makeup in Kindness.
