I got an order of Avocado Salsa and Chips to go; I used to get this from the truck when I worked downtown and know how delicious it is. The place is about 20 minutes from my work, but it is worth the drive. Keep in mind the tacos are small for $3, but they are filled with quality ingredients. The space itself is funky and comfortable. When you enter, the takeout counter is clearly marked to order there, or to dine-in, proceed to the dining room which has several tables, as well as bar seating. I was the only person who dined in during my hour long visit, but someone came in to order takeout and I heard the takeout employee tell him he would bring it over shortly, then saw him walk the order over (I am assuming to a neighboring business). I recommend it if you are in the area for lunch or dinner.

I used the empanada sauce to add some flavor to the pork and rice. In summary, I wanted to love this restaurant the advrtised images on 2 TVs are gorgeous but the food was bland. The projection TV volume made conversation difficult and service could have been more attentive. This was our first expusure to Venezuelan food and probably our last. There is bar top seating too. I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was a lot of food. My husband got the biscuits and gravy, with 4 eggs, and a pancake on the side. Whenever we were done with a plate, it would be picked up by whichever staff was walking by. The waiting space is the only downfall. There is really only space for two to three people to wait for a table inside, comfortably. The staff have a waiting list that asks for phone number. We were called when our table was ready. Once seated, our table was right next to the door and there was someone constantly squeezing in the waiting space about 2 inches from the back of my chair. This was kind of annoying while trying to enjoy brunch. I think the staff should encourage people to wait outside or in their car and assure them they will be called to lessen the crowded entry space/first table.
