The lady I talked to on the phone reassured me that my request for a Wheelchair Accessible vehicle would be easily met and that I shouldn't worry and to enjoy the last day of my vacation. A small interaction like this may not seem like much, but as a person with a disability, similar requests are often denied or at best, met with an, "I'll see what I can do", attitude. So, it meant a lot! When my plane arrived I called dispatch, picked up my bag and met my driver, who quickly loaded me into the van and had me home in 15 minutes! I asked if he was available, he got out, loaded our luggage and it was off to the Drury Hotel. Oswald is very personable, dependable, and more than anything else safe and professional. When we made it into town to the hotel, I asked for his card and told him I would call him in a week for a ride back to the airport. After a week in Millie-Wah-Kay on a Sunday morning I called Oswald and told him I would like a ride to the airport. He remembered me, told me that it would be about 40 minutes until he could pick me up, but he could send someone else. As I was in no hurry, I told him that we could wait. I also told him there would be three on the return to the airport. He showed up at the hotel after about 35 minutes and the ride to the airport was just like the ride into town. No increase in the total fare with the extra passenger. Oswald is a great conversationalist and has amazing stories to impart about his time driving tour buses in Europe. They didn't answer all day Monday. Someone emailed at 11:40p Monday night. I replied. No follow-up. Someone called back Tuesday 10:42a after the intended departure and paying cash equals no guaranteed seat and the upcharge is wild. $30 cash or $23 online for this trip. Anywhoo, I still couldn't buy online with the rep. I had to use her to complete the purchase. Same info. Yet I couldn't purchase she could. And, spelling names and streets is annoying when I can just type online. Maybe they'll get it together with the service and follow-up.

Third the pass wasn't scanned. Sounds conven, maybe it is, but at that point you might as well take cash. Fourth the driver was having a VERY hard time keeping the bus in the lanes during modest wind conditions.

I told him that I needed a cab for 11:30 and he just said OK and hung up. I then called the same cabbie back from caller ID and asked where he was; he said he'd call dispatch. I could not wait so I called dispatch myself. Cab came, got to destination, he didn't have a card machine. Sorry but I don't carry cash! On the return trip I called, and told dispatch I needed a cab that takes credit cards. I got in, and we traveled a block or so when I asked if he indeed took cards. Nope! He started to pull over and asked me if I needed a cash machine - NO, I am not incurring an ATM charge because of your not taking cards. I think they are all just not recording their fares for tax avoidance purposes but hey I got two free rides lmao. Not. My. Problem.
