OVER OVER PRICED!!!!!!!!! PLEASE check with other local lawn services. I was a Think Green customer for years, until I decided to conduct some low level research from other companies. They offer no chain of command to talk with if you discover that you have been improperly treated as a customer. They have a young lady answering the phone who refuse to allow you to speak with anyone else other than her, especially if you have found that she mis-quoted what their service offer. GIVE IT A YEAR! We committed to use Think Green for a year. For several months, weeds (likely new weeds) were popping up, which was somewhat frustrating. After a full cycle, our yard has very few weeds. It would likely look better overall, if we had more rain over the summer, but we are very happy with Think Green...enough so, we committed for another year. read more

I started their lawn care at the beginning of the season. Since then my lawn has been taken over by weeds. I was told that the emergent wears off and the weeds come. I expect a lawn care company to ensure emergents don't wear off and keep the weeds off. They just said sorry and they sprayed for weeds. Nothing else they can do. Shady business practices. Will only schedule you if you pay IN ADVANCE via credit card (dont accept cash). Their response to my review conflicts with what they told me on the phone. I was told i had to pay in advance but in their response to my review they say they dont charge you to after the service, which is a lie to what i was told on the phone when i tried to schedule. terrible company, wouldn't recommend them to take care of my pig pen. use them a couple years, but beginning of this summer we got a lot of weeds in our yard, they came out and recommended spraying to kill all the weeds, little did we or I think they knew that they killed the grass and everything. trying to get them back to see what the problem was, was impossible to set up an appointment to meet someone or talk to somebody intelligently. they came up with an excuse that we may have worms that killed the grass, but my three neighbors with pretty green lawns, who used lawn treatment companies. read more

Think Green Lawn No-Service is as terrible as their customer-NO-Service. They only reason we have them is because my elderly mother was tired of pulling grass on her knees. I called them to have someone come and re-treat the lawn, and was treated extremely rudely. I was also told that the grass needs to be cut, so the knee-high weeds can't be seen sticking out of it. I can't believe this response. If you get their "service", be ready to pay them, and still be pulling weeds. read more

If I could leave lower than 1 star I would. I have been with Think Green for several years. Honestly, the service has been consistently poor, I just put up with it for years. My yard has never looks good. However, over the past year, the service has consistently gone down hill. Further, I was charged for aeration and lime service that was clearly not performed. You can tell if your yard has been aerated...and it was not. I never complain, but the one or two times I have, they just push the problem on to customer as if I did something wrong. Currently, my yard is literally covered with weeds. Clearly, the pre-emergent treatment I paid for was not performed. I highly advise not to use this company. read more

I recently dropped services from three lawn care companies to take advantage of an all inclusive service from one company (Thinkgreen). The service received from the three lawn care providers the past three years has yielded great results! After one visit from my new provider, I regret my decision to move all lawn care service to Thinkgreen. After receiving notification of owing for three service visits (one of the three has been delivered), I called the Georgia office to cancel my service. The person who answered my phone call stated they would accept my request for cancellation but that I owed for a minimal of three visits. I do not recall ever being told this! I am happy to pay for the single service delivered but I do not feel obligated to pay for a total of three visits! As a new customer for Thinkgreen trying to make a successful expansion in the Nashville area and see good reviews on your website, I suggest you reevaluate the conversations you have on the frontend with perspective customers. In addition to their billing practices, I have also heard negative comments about the folks that manage the Nashville office. The comments have to do with their view of women and how they treat their employees. Beware of this group!! Mr. Iconis, the company's sale's representative, worked with me to deliver the services I required at a very good value. Whenever I see a few, stray weeds in the yard Think Green Lawn Service gives them a weed-be-gone special treatment. Think Green Lawn Service is fairly consistent about providing notice about the date of the next weed treatment so that I have time to provide them with any necessary special instructions. This is my 3rd treatment this season so I don't know how good or bad this firm will be. The tech did call night before to make sure the gate was left unlocked for service. Last year I had a different service and they did OK as far as treatments but their billing was off, so I dropped them. I will say that such treatments, with that firm or this Think Green do seem to work. I had loads of weeds initially, now they are mostly gone, so for me such $47 treatments seem to work. For years I thought they were a scam, for instance the tech today got here at 9:02 and left at 9:13 with 2 min of this writing up the service ticket. I've used think green for years; always having bare spots. Many complaints get pushed back on customer as to being homeowner fault. This co. is just a spray & go don't care what it looks like. Never addresses any issues on their own...Always a different tech, spray weed & feed on the blueberry bushes, even after many requests not to. The guarantee is to respray, Never get to the root of the problem. Please do NOT use their service. Their phone number is (844)648-2556. I had a service guy called Lanny. He sounded so sweet and polite, but, I thought he was too phony over the phone. He promised that they would let me know couple of days out before they came. Well, I don't know if they ever came because they didn't let me know ahead of time as promised. They slammed me with a $138.00 bill a day after the phone call with Lanny without doing anything. My landscaper who later told me that he used to work for them told me that they didn't do anything, he inspected the grass and said they didn't even apply the Lime that they claim they did for $83.00. Save yourself this nightmare and blood-sucking fleas, go elsewhere, or better still buy the weed and feed product and pay someone to do it (if you can't do it yourself). read more

We're a TG customer with Centipede grass now going into our fourth year. Over that time there have been a few lawn issues that developed. They were promptly diagnosed and resolved after a call to the office and a discussion with the technician once he arrived. TG has done well keeping our lawn in maintenance mode. The cost has been reasonably comparable to 'DIY' with the obvious advantages of not having to 'DIY'. read more

I hired Think Green lawn back in August of 2017 to deal with my backyard that was never properly seeded when I initially purchased my home in August of 2015. I tirelessly worked to get the yard seeded with Rye grass during the fall of 2016, and by the time spring of 2017 had rolled around I seeded with bermuda seed while the Rye burned up over the summer. It took a while for the Bermuda seed to take, so by the time the Rye was gone, I realized my bare land was going to be over taken by weeds again. I hired Think Green with the main intention to take care of crabgrass throughout my yard, but also to prevent the yard from becoming what it had been prior to the fall of 2016. Over the course of about 8 months, I noticed that they were not spraying the backyard at all. While my front yard was mostly weed free, the backyard was once again being completely overtaken by weeds. I called in April 2018 to ask them to call me before the next service was done, as I needed to speak with someone about how they were taking care of my yard. They never called to talk to me, and instead sent someone out to perform 2 subsequent treatments on my yard, once again providing no treatment to the backyard. For the past 3 months, they have been calling me expecting payment, when prior to those 8 months, I had done nothing but pay them in a timely manner. I finally spoke with someone today, who claimed that because she had "no record" of me calling in, in April to ask for someone to speak with me (probably because it was left over voicemail, and I didn't get to actually speak with someone), she expected me to pay for the 2 treatments anyway. I've since switched to True Green, who I'm much happier with. They provide a detailed analysis of what they've done to the yard, and they also call before they come out to let me know they are on the way, and don't just show up randomly for a couple of minutes and then leave. Think Green is a complete waste of money, and their customer service is awful. Steer clear. read more

We never used a lawn co. Our home is 2 years old and I have tried to weed and fertilize it myself. Their rep knocked on our door and we decided to use them. In a few weeks our lawn looks great. Their service guy, Alex, called the night before to tell us that he would aerate the lawn. Charles was here a few days later to fertilize. Owner fails to address customer concerns. Keeps hanging up the phone in middle of conversation and blames on bad phone line. Someone else mentioned here too re hanging up phone. Person just slings invoice on the door, barely sprays in just the front of the yard and takes off. Everything is in camera that he never serviced the back yard. I called the owner up and he kept on denying the action and blamed on my cameras, nor was able to justify more weeds in backyard than front. Kept hanging up the phone on me when I put a request for cancellation. People take your business somewhere else, this people are not professional, zero customer service and are just out there to rip you off. read more

We love Think Green!! Not only are they very affordable, but their lawn service is great! We had a lot of problems with TruGreen (including how expensive they were), and once we switched to Think Green, not only did we pay about 1/2 of what we had been paying - they fixed all the problems we had with our lawn and have made it so much healthier. They respond quickly. Just wish that I didn't have to call them so often. All in all, I am not impressed. My lawn is no better with their treatments (in 2nd year now) than when I treated it myself. They only treated for a portion of the first year so I felt that the weed issues is because they were not able to treat over winter.
